Hi, decided to share series of ship designs - rather quickly before new "ship-parts" come out and render the designs outdated. (no mods!)
Starting with the "SF" series "S" standing for "SuperSereneStandardSpaceStarship", "F" for "whatever u imagine ...".
It is a basic series ranging from cheap starter ships to a ship that is equipped with all vanilla weapons currently available (v0.12.9)
The designs try to be as minimal as possible to keep weight, size and cost down but still offering enough protection to be a serious force.
All ships feature some armor are ftl capable and have cool blue-greyish +black paint.
Here we go:
SF 1
The starter ship in this series.

115K Credits
4x Laser
2x E-Bolt
SF 2 SH
Added a shield and doubled lasers to the SF 1.

154 Tonnes

174K Credits
8x Laser
2x E-Bolt
SF 3 EN
Engine upgrade = More Thrusters

205 Tonnes
48 Souls
241K Credits

2x E-Bolt
SF 4 ion
Upgraded with an ion beam, plus a double shield arrangement and point defense is used from now on.

266 Tonnes
54 Souls
271 Credits
1 ion
6x Laser
2x E-Bolt
SF 5 mis
Added 2 Missille launchers and two missile factories, more thrusters and armor but trying to keep the size and weight as low as possible - this is a nice agile ship and will probably be the most used in this series!
To keep it minimal it has no extra storage room for missiles.

347 Tonnes
78 Souls
382K Credits
2x Missile
1 ion
6x Laser
2x E-Bolt
SF 6 gun
Features all available weapon types, with yet a bit less weight as it's predecessor it is one of the smallest and lightest ships that offers that variety! It also marks the end of this series.

347 Tonnes
78 Souls
385K Credits
2x Cannon
2x Missile
1 ion
2x Laser
2x E-Bolt
SF 6 gun Armor
Added thick armor to the SF 6, makes a mockery to the series and really ends it.

591 Tonnes
78 Souls
410K Credits
2x Cannon
2x Missile
1 ion
2x Laser
2x E-Bolt
Enjoy the series in early and mid bounty hunter game, as support ships - or even swarms in late games!
(Next up a series of pretty gunship units.)
Bye, Verania
