I have tried and tried to use missiles in early game, and I cant get by the first area. Can anyone send me a good early game missile ship?

Are missiles useless in earlygame?
missiles are good if you outrange your opponent, they arent the best weapon for starter ships since it's expensive, but as long as you have more reverse thrust than your opponent you should win
if was rather hard to not make it above 80k credits and it should be fast enough to not be hit by any ships of the first area
