There are at least one example for each & every component suggested above in vanilla parts. Happy decoding Walt's puzzle...
Use vanilla explosive, chain it to the weapon, and toggle it on when overheat conditions are met. done.
Lafiel (sorry for my heck of a late reply, i don't check forums much these days) I'd tried thinking about making an autofire explosion but got stumped on the autofire part.
