Summary
The United Dominions of man is a totalitarian federation which is split up into various states or dominions. There are five total normal states and one central state. The leader of Each state sits in the council which is effectively the group of people with all power in the entire nation. The central state’s leader is Empress Dominas Calidius. She is the supposed leader of the UDM and could overwrite all the other council members power if she wished too, but the other council members might turn their fleets against the central government if she does that. The state leaders have the same title but under different names.
States:
Federal Midway of Glory: The central dominion, its leader is the Empress. It controls the Dominion Star Navy and the Emperor’s Guard fleets. The capital of the state (also the capital of the empire) is Guardiny. Midway is the only “prosperous” part of the UDM were the planets aren’t plagued by poverty, chaos and famine. That is why the UDM has all of its diplomatic bases in the Federal Midway of Glory. It is the state with the least slavery and where the nations aristocratic elite reside.
Dominion of Ark: Its economy is based around slavery. The State has the most slaves and is the most unstable. It also is the most oppressive. It uses violence and extreme methods to keep its population in line. Its leader title is called an Overlord
Supreme Territories of the East: In the most east section of the empire, the “East State” is one of the only two states who have an own navy, being the Fleet of Honor and Victory. It has the least amount of colonies but has the most amount of shipyards. The leader is a Warlord
Colonies of Cortum Inopibus: Being the most resource-rich and close to the center of the combined territories of the UDM (being very close to midway), it supplies most of the states, including the Supreme territories. The Colonies and Supreme Territories are the two states who are closest to each other because they rely on each other. The colonies are a ripe target for enemies, thus why they supply recources to the supreme territories so they build the other only state-owned navy, The Curtom Jumpers. Their leader bears the title of Governor. Most of the recources are in space, but those that are mined on the ground are mined by slaves.

Origin
The Humans of the UDM have lived on the world of Guardiny. The humans of the UDM’s lungs are very sensitive and the UDM Human is very unadaptive. They can only live on planets with extremely similar atmospheres. Guardiny was terraformed by one of many terraforming devices used by the Superior Nations of the Spiral. The terraforming device terraformed certain sectors before moving to a new one. The UDM can only colonize the planets which that certain terraforming device terraformed, thus it must split its territory in order to expand their empire in only those sectors. The humans in the UDM show no indicator of coming from any supposed earth, yet their biology is almost identical to that of other supposed earth originating humans. It’s almost as if they were engineered, or their conditions were engineered to create humans. The only noticeable differences is that the humans of the dominions are less adaptive and that they are more psionically potent. Surprisingly though, their full psionic potential is very rarely achieved to that of Bastonians.

Ethics and Morals
The UDM oppresses other political opinions with censoring, assassinations etc. Their police are brutal and slavery is common. The UDM is very xenophobic, and see other races as inferior. Alien races are used as slaves within the Dominions. The empire is unstable though because of foreign interference from nations such as the GBE. Xenos are mistreated, mentally, sexually and politically. The most common types of slavery are recreational chattel slavery, debt slavery and sweatshop type slavery. The UDM state uses trafficking and selling of slaves to control how the workforce is distributed, sending cheap labor to planets w that have labor shortages or allowing for population and industry growth on planets they want to invest in. Slavery is more of a tool to control the distribution of population as well as creating lucrative markets, not to have a cheaper workforce.
