OK, i'm just going to say right of the bat, what happens in this forum STAYS in this forum, so for those who decide to play along, if I destroy your faction, you still have your fac outside this forum. None of this is canon. Now that we are done with that, let's say a massive territory just pops into existince and starts taking territories and starting wars, for the sake of simplicities they will use SW ships. What do you do?

Depends... This happened before, a few times, and each had a different ‘acceptance level’ to it.

Such a territory or force cant come from nothing, and one has to really work out from where it came.

If worked out enough, and convince the RP’ers that it is a logical event, you can do something quite fun, and they will accept it and join along.

If it isnt worked out, or not prepared at all, they will ignore it.

To put it simply, an invasion or takeover of the forums are impossible.

Bloodcult, Entities, and Deltas exist. They can wipe out anything they choose to, much less a faction.
The only way to get people to let their factions die is if they don't like it in the first place. If you try to get someone to kill a faction that they truly like (or its a "don't touch my baby" mentality if it's too new), they won't accept any terms.
Superweapons exist in other factions. There is nothing preventing the total annihilation of your faction at the hands of DSLs, Nulcear Weaponry, etc. All it'd take is one tiny little misstep, and BANG ,BANG, Your faction-be-gone.

Roasted Star Wars is named Star Wars because of galactic political instability. One organization can't control a galaxy peacefully,let alone an entire universe with billions of galaxies. And then there's the fact that the universe is expanding and galaxies drifting apart making response time for threats slower,making peace harder to maintain. Then there's people's shenanigans ruining a theoretically perfect government
