Texture replacement [Solved]

I replaced the ugly as hell fire_indicator with smoke in the game files

But still looks the same in game...

Does anyone know what happened here?
Where does that texture come from?

IvanBerni You have to restart the game for any change to take place.
That said from my experience the game is bad at updating minor changes like sprites and code that are referenced and not directly in a part txt file. There are other weirdness but keep trying, eventually, it will update.

Lafiel Maybe if i install or uninstall a mod the game will read the files again, but I still don't understand where the image comes from, does it have a cache or somewhere where it is saved
