You could add teleporter and attack crew. The attack crew would be an new quarter with 4 attack crew. The teleporter would take the attack crew to the teleporter, and after the teleporter would take the attack crew to the enemy ship that is targeted. If the attack crew tooked control of the ship, it would become your's. But if not, you would need to re-engage attack crew. It would be a cool feature if you could retreat your crew if your attack crew is not succeful. Thank you if you read this.

Another idea: There is a core and a place to store plasma batteries, there should be a place where you can stock ammunition(I'm not sure how to write that 😛).
Yes, that is planned, actually. Ammo will be something you either have to buy or manufacture yourself using raw materials, and then you will have to store it.
whoa, my ships are going to be very expensive to build then, oh yeah speaking of which, I think that when you enter bounty hunter, you should have a base, to produce ships and drones , and fighters.

I've been wanting to add a short-range jump/blink drive for ships to escape hairy situations, or even blink around behind an enemy and take out its weak spot. Also, a cloaking device. (Surprised I haven't gotten more requests for cloaking devices.)
I could tackle the "ammo bay". It shouldn't be too hard to mod, right? @Walt: Is that OK? However, you do realize the cannon are eating up ammo like there's no tomorrow? As far as I see it I can fit in like 36 bullets per bay. 3 more if I'm allowed to stack some upright. This will force people to have mixed weapons but it will hurt the small ships. While big ships won't suffer as much of a loss. Unless we will get smaller type of ammo (graphics) for the small guys?
Cannons will definitely have to be rebalanced, and there will also need to be more weapons for smaller ships.
You are welcome to make your own ammo bay and post it here as a mod, but for legal reasons, I can't include other people's work in the base game.
I don't think changing cannons will solve the problem because it's up to the builders to choose the weapon. Anything good will be used by every build. It won't make a difference. But if smaller weapons get smaller ammo, hence, can fire as much as bigger ships; that would help.
And yet, teleporters are still not implemented.
