"what the fuck! -- No! Who are you?! And why are you in my head asshole?"
the captain doesn't sound very compliant, disgruntled and still hurting from whatever the hell had just happened to him. But do you blame him really? He starts looking around

your scan through the mirror like rift brings nothing back. Nothing you wanted anyway. It just transmitted the scan back like a mirror, refracting the very scan itself. But you can scan the rift itself, not beyond it as nothing can seem to go within, not even positive or antimatter. Though it just seems to be tearing them apart in a violent reaction. Severing that space in this reality like an axe through wood.

the rift cracks wider like an eye. Ripping at the seams of space itself. Then, a gigantic, monolithic construct makes its way through. It only goes halfway through the rift and rouge space rocks hitting it from the nearby belt do no real damage. Is that Hull even metal? It looks like a marbly obsidian, but when the space rock hit it the monolithic construct created a resounding buzz. Though can only be heard from within a ship. Its like the sound of a triangle but more artificial, stranger. Similar to an explosion underwater or the sound of a whale moaning and calling in the deep blue, a sound strong enough to break your bones.
the monolithic construct creates its full exit. The crack stays open. Upon closer inspection, the monolithic construct has multicoloured dancing lights that go red, orange, yellow, orange all around it like wildfire, and small, handwritten sized runes etched onto the Hull. Why is that there? And they're not anything from here. They don't even look to be a language, just shapes slapped on for good measure. But these shapes have patterns, they have rhythm and meaning. But it's all madness and deranged scribbling to the untrained eye. Only an ethereally mindless race of higher beings could understand this deranged nonsense. The texts are all evenly lined against the Hull like some sort of scripture, like this monolith was just one huge memorial, just without the pictures. Possibly something religious? No, there's nothing holy about this huge, blackened scripture of a monolith.
this behemoth of a construct bares no visible weapons, nor moves itself into any attacking position, it just lingers like a gentle giant, watching all of you
