there is MinLinearDamping and MinAngularDamping to have a minimum damping
but there isnt MaxLinearDamping nor MaxAngularDamping to have a maximum damping

so when i set the LinearDampingFactorPerSpeedExponent to a negative value (so the ship would start slow and the faster they get, the less drag apply so they get even faster) it happen that stationary ships have infinite drag and are unable to move

kwhwwymwn Probably because the number is used in absolute terms. So you have to set is as close to 0 as possible or 0.

Lafiel what number would be used in absolute terms? LinearDampingFactorPerSpeedExponent isnt

kwhwwymwn I mean negative numbers becomes the same as positive numbers.

Lafiel i understood what you mean and i can tell you that LinearDampingFactorPerSpeedExponent = 1 is completely different than LinearDampingFactorPerSpeedExponent = -1

i you want i can show you some graphs
