Galactic Lihr and Mhertz, or better known as GL&M, is a Megacorporation conglomerate composed of multiple acting branches that specializes in warfare and technology-related products and research.
The company itself is run by the mysterious figures of Lihr and Mhertz, who have yet to make a public appearance.
THE RECTIFYING: An event known as “The Rectifying closely predates the stage where the company gained Megacorporation status, right after the M.I.S.E itself started expanding its borders. Amidst the chaos of an evacuated Musavi due to internal complications, large data assets of the company seem to have been erased, though mostly of its owners. There’s still enough evidence to know who they are, but this seems to have granted them a veil of darkness that only the highest grade Musavians can peer through.
CORPORATE EXPANSIONISM: Being one of the first companies to set up a mining colony, GL&M helped the M.I.S.E expand its borders by using their own facilities to produce the colonization ships, something that is still done in the contemporary days to contracts. This gave GL&M a massive edge relative to competition, quickly propelling them to the most prominent corporation within the M.I.S.E, allowing them to absorb many smaller companies, and even some of its competitors.
This age also saw the climb of other companies, like Ketza-L Entertainement, Shoggazze Biotech, and Double Vertigo. Though none of them had the same scope of power to accomplish what GL&M did.
MEGACORPORATION MERGERS: Following the M.I.S.E’s expansion, GL&M sought after new markets to invest into. This brought them beyond Yutera, a Megacorporation inhabiting the rim of the galaxy close to the M.I.S.E itself. GL&M took great interest in the investment within Yutera, and through a series of bold merger and buyout moves following deep economic crashes within Yutera, it was able to absorb it into its assets, thus more than doubling its economical power and the diversity of fields it specialized in, inheriting a plethora of technologies and propelling it to be a mighty competitor in the galactic market.
DELTA LOCKDOWN AND QUARANTINE: After the attack of the Deltas upon Damadafu and the great loss of the planet. GL&M once again offered its help towards the MISE government, employing their workers within the recently acquired Yutera planets, incentivizing social adaptation programs for better integration. It planned out the M.I.S.E quarantine, going hand-in-hand with the Ministries while it worked tirelessly to feed and nurture the Musavians in a time of strife.
Though exterior relations were closed, this meant that all of the M.I.S.E could profit from further expanding their inner industry and commerce, thus, they slowly scouted out nearby systems and helped the M.I.S.E colonize, as well as furthered all of their assets.
A treaty was signed between the M.I.S.E and other Megacorporations, such as the D.V.C and GL&M, which brought upon a short-lived and profitable period of interiorization.
THE EMBASSY AND THE REOPENING: The whole of the M.I.S.E watched the phenomena of The Storm to slowly rise from the center of the galaxy with powerful gravimetric telescopes. They preemptively set in motion many military drills and set all of their border worlds to high alert, this could mean the end of the galaxy, and they’d try their best to fend the enemy off, whilst trying to evacuate colony ships with the largest FTL jump they could make, surpassing the theorized limits of their current technology.
However, it was not meant to be. They were met with the unsettling silence as the phenomena continue to rage on in the center of the galaxy, perhaps the most outrageous response from an enemy that took their planet, literally and metaphorically.
In the subsequent string of months, there was no more sighting of any Delta activity. Meanwhile, a friend from the stars brought to them the news of The Embassy, and the promise of peace and prosperity it brought. The M.I.S.E knew it was something worthy of trying, and the megacorporations saw the promise of profit from it. Being the major Megacorporation from the M.I.S.E, GL&M saw the best contractual work due to their cutthroat prices and highly sophisticated engineering even to the rest of the galaxy scene, they were the ones to build a good majority of the installations on the planet.
This now is the present day, with the border restrictions of the MISE relaxed and the market open, they seek after more markets and more profits, bringing the edge of Musavian and Galactic technology onto the playing field.
GL&M is controlled by a board of directors, each of which hold a major share of the company, be it, more than 2%. They are then allowed to partake in highly secretive meetings about the future of the company. The names and identities of many of large shareholders are unknown.
From there downwards, each of the operating branches of GL&M has a group that leads its development and further research into the field, being supervised by the board of directors and its moderators. The extremely large scope of the company means that there are too few directors to take control of all of the branches, hence, the moderation team.
Downwards, each of the branch is subdivided into research, development and production, with logistics and advertising being left to their own separate divisions directly connected to the larger branch.
The company follows a Toyotist-like production, taking advantage of high-advanced algorithms to try and predict the market trends, lightly pre-producing demand. Storages facilities aren’t very known about, and most have their location secret, as they deal in weapons, making their storages and factories high-value targets.
PLANETS AND SYSTEMS:
Owning 32 systems from the Yutera Merger and from the colonization programs incentivized by the M.I.S.E government, GL&M has no shortage of industrial, technological and scientific capabilities. Every planet of theirs has complex factories that go from basis production to the most advanced military components.
One thing worth noting is the mechanics involving the old Yutera star cluster, a weird cosmical phenomena that escapes the galaxy’s outer ring by a few light years. Within it, systems are grouped in small and isolated islands, connected by large precursor gateways, which seem to be the only method of FTL within the territory.
However, some systems and planets are made more evident than others:
MAIN ADMINISTRATION:Reformed and Repurposed, once the old Yutera HQ system, now the GL&M Headquarter system. It’s a system deep within the Yutera Nebula, owned by GL&M now, which features a plethora of administrative buildings that coordinate all of the operations from GL&M.
This heavily-defended concrete system sees the housing of many important shareholders and board members. Often times, employees that perform exceptionally well in their line of duty are called upon to the Main Administration system to negotiate their raises with the board of directors himself, an honour equal to the advantages it brings.
MNSXX - X3301: A tongue-twister of a name which nobody seems to know what it actually exactly means, nor where it is located. More of a speculation and rumor between the employees of GL&M and the galactic market, this planet is known to be an extremely secretive testing, research and development ground for the forefront of technologies that GL&M deal with.
The few that have been there and have come forth about their experience seem to remember that it is a barren planet riddled with underground facilities with the highest tech equipment and supplies. However, no-one has ever supplied any proof of its existence. GL&M has publicly said that it may have been an inside joke that started between the more condecorated researchers they have on their team, and that the planet isn’t more than a space-age ghost story.
HYPERATOMIC PRODUCTIONS: This system, as the name implies, deals with the production of hyperatomic materials, technologies, and related enterprises. Being concentrated in only one system at the very core of the GL&M cluster, and in close proximity to the Main Administration system, it is the second most heavily defended system of GL&M space.
The system itself is operated in bipartisanship with the M.I.S.E government, that allows the usage of Hyperatomics by GL&M due to their outstanding contributions to the development of the M.I.S.E itself, though it still regulates the production and usage of any Hyperatomic product or technology, barring the acquisition of the technology itself by foreign entities.
GATEWAY SYSTEM: Publicly known as the only access to the GL&M Cluster, this is the most heavily defended system of GL&M. Numerous military installations all guard the large Precursor gateway that connects the G-S16 space with the Yutera cluster, being the only known method of going into the cluster itself.

GL&M produces products of their own, however, they are also able to produce products from other companies and factions by contractual work. They have more-than-capable shipyards to produce any ship currently fielded, though the scope of their industry cannot produce megastructures as of yet.
Follows the most predominant and expensive products on disposal:
Plasma-Kinetic Penetrator: A nuclear missile loaded with a warhead that functions as a HEAT projectile by funneling the detonated nuclear material through a magnetic-assisted conductive funnel. It has the additional advantage of propelling the funnel itself as powerful piercing shards. The plasma from the detonation is so ionized it can resist with its shape despite a certain distance between the ship and the detonation site.
APC-AMT Cluster Missile: A large missile that deploys smaller rockets from an internal carousel, it carries 30 fast-burn rockets that automatically home into PD systems with an Armor-Piercing Capped Anti-Material Thermate warhead, fusing the PD system and the metal of the rocket itself.
Scattershot: A classic M.I.S.E missile archetype, it carries a warhead capable of overloading an electromagnetic coil that transfers the energy of the detonation into external triangular pellets of depleted uranium or denser substance. The pellets then ride on the kinetic wave of the detonation, exiting as a sort of “space shotgun”. Extremely effective for proximity detonations or for targeting fighters.
Delta-Strike Missile: A large, expensive, and bulky missile based on a combination of multiple Hyperatomic explosive technologies and T-E Mesh technologies, this missile was made to funnel a stream of extremely ionized nuclear blast plasma with enough force to penetrate the presumed shielding of a Delta “Cyan ship” whilst carrying a hyperatomic warhead and strike its main body with tremendous pennetrative force, detonating within. It is larger than an average bomber fighter and includes its own shielding and guidance system. However, due to its extreme weight and profile, it must be deployed quite close to the target, making it a hard yet extremely destructive weapon to use. The way it is set up means that one can change the yield of the bombs within to regulate comform the threat, a retrofit, as GL&M knows that very few battleships and capital ships in the galaxy have the same shielding power as a Delta "Cyan ship".
P-E-A-C-E (Prototype Ergospheric Amplification Cyan Emitter): A prototype spinal-mounted cannon for battleship-class or larger ships. Although tremendously lacking the power of the actual Cyan Canon, it demonstrates similar concepts to its working in the conical-like photonic focuser. Light is accumulated and amplified by a projected small ergosphere, and released in a single burst through a differential focusing gravitational aperture. The resulting blast is not nearly enough to achieve the depth fusion of the Cyan cannon, thus, it projects and casts shields onto the hulls of the ship, and work first as a powerful penetration laser weaponry, which then produce a powerful plasma blast (Like conventional explosives or HEAT).
Polarizer Particle Beam: The particle weapon uses a small fusion reactor to collect electrons and protons, which are then shot in small bursts with the distance between them determined automatically by the distance and size of the target. The beam creates temporary magnetic poles on whatever it impacts, heavily damaging electromagnetic shielding by influencing the magnetic flux of material, alternatively, it can also create powerful currents through objects, which may fry internal electronics.
Hardlight Conical Emitter: A conical-shaped thin gas medium is filled with light until it acquires enough density to behave like a dense metal. Then, it is dispensed from the chamber of the cannon by electromagnetism. The projectile is extremely lightweight and fast, though it’s impossible for it to fragmentate nor for it to contain a warhead. Essentially works as a bigger and more damaging pulsed laser, having a slight penetration effect.
General Purpose Electromagnetic Catapult: A mix of a conventional and unconventional electromagnetic railgun, this one seems to have less potency fiering things, however, its ample aperture allows for it to launch all kinds of projectiles, as long as they can be influenced by electromagnetic forces. Alternatively, the catapult can also be used to acquire nearby debris or deviate the passage of nearby enemy projectiles.
E-S-P (Experimental Shield Projector): This weird circular gun-like turreted defensive system accumulates a quantity of one of two different measures: One is electromagnetic, using a small fusion reactor to cast plasma onto the shape of a disc, which is kept in shape by a layer of magnetized material on the back, or Hardlight, accumulated by a luminous projector on a veil of thin gas.
Either circular-shaped “projectiles” are launched, and act as shields away from the ship itself, they can be used to preemptively trigger weaponry or soften the impact of larger projectiles.
T.E-M Based APS: These specialized defensive plates come in a variety of square and rectangular shapes. They are Single-use Plates that work in the principle of a projectile hitting the Tensile-Energetic Mesh on its surface, stretching it and producing energy to feed a defensive measure. They come in the following kinds, from cheapest to most expensive:
-Electromagnetic: The energy is directed towards a series of magnets, which power up in a split-second and burn out, generating an enormous magnetic field that disperses plasma and flattens solid projectiles to a disc.
-Plasma: A backplate of fuel is contained by a thin membrane of superconductor. The superconductor spreads the energy evenly, instantly transforming the fuel into plasma, which expands violently and propels itself outwards. The plasma disintegrates solid projectiles and plasma projectiles, which can be caught in the electromagnetic influence of the ship’s main shield generators.
-Hardlight/laser: The energy feeds a type of easily excitable atoms, generating a burst of laser in an instant, which is then caught in a field of rarefied gas stabilized magnetically. The photons catch into the gas until the plate is covered in hardlight in the consistency of metal. Any projectile caught within the first wave of laser is disintegrated by its intensity. Requires exterior energy feed into it to keep the electromagnets active to stabilize the Hardlight, if not, the hardlight will eventually fade out.
-Experimental Gravitometer: An experimental technology, the energy would theoretically feed a small gravimetric manipulator, creating a gravity well that’d push the projectiles away.
Shrapnel Magnetic Ejection APS: Plates of about 50x50cm large meant to work against common usage swarm missiles in space-bound fights. These plates violently explode outwards releasing a targeted cluster of shrapnel that eats through the warhead of missiles, setting them off far too soon to damage the ship. The shrapnel case is reloadable up to 5 times, however, the plate also acts as a passive magnetic armor against chemical munitions, and a repelling plate armor against armor piercing munitions, though they can only be used once for those purposes.
Emergency Gravitometric System: A last-ditch system rigged to gravity-based FTL drives. It can be activated by the captain or by an automatic detection system. It burns out the FTL drive in a rapid manner by forcing all of the fuel into its ports. This creates a small gravitational vortex at the expense of the drive itself, and any ships that might be close to it. It does not work when interdiction is activated, though it can be a lifesaver in the case of a large incoming asteroid or projectile.
