The Assembly set into the high gear. Several FTL anomalies could've been heard, as the quick response fleet, and a few smaller fleet designations were sent to the sector that the mysterious whisper would hit first. In total, the ships that were on site were :
6 Armored Military Freighters, each carrying massive amounts of missile weaponry, 50 small, drone-like craft, and supplies for them.
50 medium sized warships, 40 of which were fire supporting ships, while the rest were brawlers, meant to take frontline positions.
10 big warships, which were more or less, mobile battlestations, made mainly with defense in mind.
6 standalone warships.
Along to that, a bigger number of servicing spacecraft, atleast several mounted onto hulls of each warship present, excluding the small craft.
And so, the fleet assembled together to form a defending stance, with a high focus on moving parts. The freighters in the back, medium warships filling the middle, separated into smaller groups, each of the groups consiting of 1 brawler and 4 fire supporting craft, big warships on the front, and the standalone ones evenly spread across the whole formation.
However, that wasn't the end of their preparation. A single, small, recon craft was sent out of the system. Most of the space oboard that starship was taken by fuel and an engine. It didn't possess an FTL drive, or any kind of more advanced technologies which could fall into enemy hands. The reconnaissance ship was then tasked to fly straight into the growing spot and collect information, if any could be acquired, that is.
It should be noted, that this spaceship in particular was exceptionally fast, constantly accelerating at several hundred of G's.
