Objective:
You will be picking one of Nineteen Built-ins (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B6cNSJ5cMh1U2ab69whxMe8CdSv9QvTQrVYLEL8Zz0o/edit) (all are over 750k) to recreate at a smaller scale. You’ll be judged on; the accuracy of your ship to the original (how similar the shape, paint, weapons, function, etc are), your creativity/originality (the different kinds of design choices you made to try to imitate the original, and that you didn’t just copy something you already made or found somewhere)
-This will last from now until Friday night/Saturday morning (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Cy.co%27s+Mini+Design+Contest+End+Date&iso=20200725T00&p1=1440)
-Afterwards, the community will have a time period to vote, and the winners will be declared!
Rules:
-No price requirement, it’s up to you how much smaller you want your ship to be, just don’t make it so big that it’s almost the same price as the original
-Only one ship submission per player
-No mods. This includes decal mods!
-No illegal ships!
-To enter just ping me below or in Discord about which ship you chose. The first person who picks a specific ship gets to use that ship, and no one else can use it unless the person decides that they won’t use it,
-To submit a ship, post a valid ship image file below, or in the #design-contest-submissions on Discord. You must pick a ship and ping me before you submit an entry.
Rewards:
-Bragging rights.
-The ability to, by participating in a Cosmoteer event and having been declared the one victor out of all your compatriots and rivals, vaunt about your prodigious ship building propensity.
Notes:
-This Design Contest, like many others, rests heavily on the honor system. Please respect it.
-If you already have made a small ship, you could use it, but I would heavily urge you to try to attempt a recreation of a different ship (for this reason, the Ipsissimus and Stella Matutina are not included, as their smaller versions are too alike).
-Please don’t use/copy other’s ships.
-As I can’t be everywhere at the same time, please don’t spam questions, and read the rules thoroughly.
I'd prefer that you request a ship and submit one in Discord, but if you have to put it here, you can.
