The moments before crash of the two groups was horrifying, more so considering that the fleet had engaged evasive manouvers but the beasts still came closer at a terrifying speed...The missiles from teh heavy druisers crashed into the back of the beasts though at the speed at which they had parted ways with them, some didn´t even manage to catch up with them, regardless three of the beasts were torn to mist by the supportfire and another four finished off by counter fire of the fleeing patrol fleet...
...yet the eleven remaining beasts, crashed into the fleet, in what felt almost like a slowmotion, fireballs engulfed the core of the fleet, armor was torn open, flesh rend apart, ship internals from both sides scattered across the battlefield before it all devolved into an indistinguishable chaos...
Then, the likely most impressive yet equally terrifying quality of these beasts could be observed, from the fireballs that remained of the crashes, six of the beasts emerged, seemingly battered and scorched but alive, they had actually survived the crashes, before any of the observers could react the remaining beasts disappeared through the tear, leaving behind and shaken and broken UEG fleet...
Then, silence reigned once more around the rift...
