Because it looks like you didn't (I am trying to meet you half way or further and you are repeating the same thing over and over).

If you had then you would know that I am planning on changing the paint job (because its yours)
I am planning on changing the ship names (because they are partially yours)

By your own admission the shape is similar but not the same.
The internals are completely different if you don't believe me have them do battle.

At what point does a ship become something you can claim as your own???
The only reason they haven't been changed is I am waiting on my update because of you.

How do you add pictures like that (I have to upload them).

Finally claiming age over anyone is nothing more than a form of bullying especially in this context as it has no bearing other than to theoretically shore up your claim.

While I don't know how you got the ship to pay you for itself.
The railgun exploit is old news at this point I have figured ways to fix it, maybe, but they require a significant amount of work.

I thought about getting not involved with this but those are Ultras ships. Even if you modified them. You didn't even ask permission to use them in your mod.

Your not respecting what they asked calmly to do which was simply not use the ships.

@BenK You have 48 hours to make the necessary adjustments to your mod, that being removing Ultranovas ship designs. For you are in clear violation of Rule 14.

Failure to do so will result in your mod being removed from the forum and your account will be suspended for a short period of time.

Are you an administrator? (you don't appear to be Walt)

(my point is that the only thing at this point that he owns of any of the ships is an outline that is similar if that is enough then do I own all square ships because I think that is wrong but I will abide by an administers judgment)

I am not arguing that I should not post other peoples stuff I am arguing that it has evolved way beyond that.
In other words does the time I spent on the ships not matter.

In case you are an administrator they will be removed. I hope the precedent you set today doesn't bite you later.

I want to make this easier/harder for everyone here there is a class of ships called wall ships they by design are a wall of guns followed by a wall of defenses followed by engines. Now there is a huge variation of differences between the internals of wall ships, in fact this separates good wall ships from less good ones but by design almost all wall ships look very similar.
No one argues that they are the same ship. (if you try I will sit back with my marshmallows on a loooonggg stick and have toasty marshmallows)
Is this not a very similar problem.

Indeed but I need to be sure and I also want to be be sure that this moderator has really looked at the problem and is not handing rulings down from on High.
Also you people who are having fun watching this and kicking me have you realized what this is really about. If our moderator sides with UltraNova this will set precedent for UltraNova to remove any modders ships as long as their outline is similar the only restriction is that his ships are older, and since he is one of the oldest modders by age of his ship designs that means almost everyone.

If you do then do you get another ship from the buy ships menu remove everything and put your stuff in?
The startership is super common with this.

If clowns like you take someone's hull, put some extra parts and call it a new ship, then this game isn't for you.

But speaking of modifying someone else's work:

Jared nah, there's some star trek ones though so, could be someone else's, could not be. Probably just from one of the numerous star trek hull pages, not worth looking into lol.
