the men begin moving furniture to barricade the doors leaving only a few unhindered, one being the way they came.
the group then splits into pairs and begins searching/clearing the other rooms

One couldn't note whether or not the Ïchlamo was still alive. Knocked out that bad.

After realizing that the ship was exposed to the rest of the ship, and hearing more people aboard, the akyrate had leaned against a wall seemingly in exhaustion and/or relief.

the creature completely blocks the volleys by using its huge, bulky arms as a shield. Its back appendages begin to throw flames in front of it however. Luckily, the flames just about miss the team, scorching them if it had not.

But as soon as the team get far enough out of the room. The large mechanical brute starts charging. Using it's appendages as tusks, like a mammoth

one hears scuttling in one of the rooms, appears to be a kitchen, like ones you'd find in a restaurant. While the others are clear. However, they can hear very faint gunfire coming from the medical bay, and other strange sounds in the far and near distance

the bladed machine looks down at its prey, hunched over it like a vulture. Then, it darts it's head forward. It's now gotten bored of you. The thing stands tall, almost ignoring you now, not caring if you're dead or not. However, it does do something before abandoning you. A wire or tube of sorts with a device on the end of it slithers to you, it the clips itself to the palm of your hand, tearing through any suit that may be there. It penetrates the skin but its painless, after a second or so it then detaches itself from your hand to the tall machine. The wire slithers back.
it then looks back down at you, it then opens its mouth. Not to scream, but to talk, in your tongue, in your voice. But it sounds coarse and rapier, only slightly, but just enough to unsettle anybody who can spot it

"the siren calls, it beckons to me, but the beast. The beast. It rages with fury to match the fire of man and its weapons. I stand in the middle, you should never have come here"

it then leaves you, towering over you and towards the tunnel you came from

the other soldier hears the noises in the vents draw nearer, but as you do, you hear a low rumble, followed by what you can only describe as whale calls, but just more perverted and distrusted, reaching high and low frequencies you can't hear. That may be why it sounds so incomplete.

the noise then silences as you hear large mechanical, spider like thuds move away from the bridge door

Node_Man
The 7, 8ft tall, 300kg gigantic Mrrshan soldiers covered head to toe(if they had toes)in combat armor composed of light weight naquada carbon, trinium composite plating, and being immune to fire and made of rock begin charging forward in response, furious they begin grabbing and trying to rip appendages off the creature and stomping on the creatures body as the Alkari continue firing there guns aiming towards the creatures skull.

Node_Man

. . . . .. ...

The one near the bridge, slightly awakened by whatever noises there were, starts to pay more attention to the vents. If his thoughts are correct, there should be a few peoples.

Node_Man
the kitchen team call the others in, and search the area. they'll deal with the noise when the get there.

The mammoth like creature, 12 ft in height, laced in an unknown metal with huge, thick wall like arms in front of it as it throws fire, scorching the walls, floor and ceiling black like tar. It has no problem marching through the Mrrshan rock men like a bulldozer, their forms on do little to the thick armour of the beast; they're just denting it so far. The appendages they're trying to rip off just swing at the Mrrshans like a big baseball bat

And as for the gunfire? It does little in terms of damage as the skull and most of the skeleton is covered in armour. It continues to charge at the more squishier prey, completely ignoring the Mrrshan force

However, one of the Mrrshan left behind in the beast's rampage notices an exposed spine, however, its only exposed so low down. Ripping it could disable its back lags, meaning its movement could go at a crawl.

...

but not all noise is good. You can hear the other one in distress, they seem to be coming into the bridge through the tunnel you went through. They speak in your tongue

"help! something just attacked me, it cut me pretty deep"

he groans in pain as you hear limped footsteps coming from the pitch black tunnel

GenericUser984

as they all begin to search the kitchen, they see the pike like shell of the small mechanical thing Bob up and down as it scurries across the floor, turning left inside a draw, or something, you don't see or hear it again but you know it's in here.

meanwhile, one of the barricades gives in as the distinct sound of broken glass is followed by the barricade falling, and big, metal clanks followed by it. They're methodic, spider like. They're footsteps, but coming from what?

Node_Man
The one left behind begins charging to rip the spine out as the alkari begin turning back and running towards there shuttle the other Mrrshans continue there assault trying to pull the armor plates apart to create openings in its metallic shell

The other group continues through the vents trying to get to the corridor

Node_Man
Could be anyone, he thought, but it was quite a familiar accent.. Likely the same Ïchlamo that parted ways some time ago. Probably withdrawn from the other room.
"I think I heard..."
He wasn't thinking too deeply about it, but he couldn't get his own voice to sound clear, and knowing his surroundings, it wouldn't be a good idea to take the helm off.
He stepped towards the bridge entrance.
I'm positive I'm sure I believe I think I heard...

four of the pilots move to the kitchen door, while two move to trap the small one. they pile up anything they can against the drawers, only stopping when they know its safe enough, moving to the rest of the team once finished.

5 days later

the brute howls in pain as its spine is torn from its waist. It's back legs stop working, it does try to use its appendages as legs, but that does little to stop it getting ripped apart from the Mrrshan soldiers' sheer power.

the ones in the vent finally manage to make it into the corridor, they look behind themselves to now fund that blockage is now moved, parted to make way, for what? What err the case, they have a large door in front of them with a control panel next to it the door is locked and will have to be opened manually. And if the sign above it reads true, then this leads to the bridge.

then out of the shadows, the creature reveals itself to you, this abhorrent mess of machine and cadaver had stolen the voice of your compadre. It lurches over you like a tower as its blade like arms drag across the floor.

it then goes to grab you

inside the lounge where the barricade had fallen. Something sinister stands in the middle of the room, it slowly clocks its head towards the kitchen as the hermit crab escapes its trap, it then scurries to this disgusting machine and clamps on its back, where several more hermits are present. This machine, the spider, is almost completely skeletal in mechanical structure, but it does appear to have the organs of the alien its trying to look like on it. Its eyes, organs and muscle serve no purpose other than to keep whatever it was alive. The spider does seem to have multiple, spike like legs with thick metal arms to go with them. It's torso is also snake like as it features segments that are covered in bladed protrusions.

it makes a sickening hiss as the hermits all detach form its back

    Node_Man
they group open fire at both the swarm and host, aiming for anything that can be perceived as vital. they also toss the nearby kitchen equipment at the incoming hostiles.

    Node_Man
    "AUCK WITH YE!"
The Akyrmarine readied both weapons while dodging back, and had prepared to fire a burst...if he were quick enough.
