the group holds its position, and start ordering for the man to put his hands where they can see them. the sixth pilot finally lands and moves to their commotion.

the man does not put his hands in the air, but instead stumbles to the ground, his knees hit the hard metal floor like stones as he the falls flat on said floor. He stops moving after that.

however, there is a huge, shard like object on his back connected to an insect like body. A form that is all machine. Pumps and wires connect from it into talon like feeders Into the man's back. The tubes that connected the pumps pulse like a beating heart as the wires have seemingly injected themselves into the person's back... The thing almost looks like a huge, metal hermit crab, just more twisted and insulting to nature

The one in the command room explores it for any detail...whilst hearing the other.

The one in the cryostasis room had jumped backward, careful not to hit anything too hard. He would need better light, on whatever it was. What seemed to blend with his left arm/wing was a small light cannon that folded outward. Upon firing, it would (unless that figure is allergic to day) not hurt it, or cause any affliction. The beam also was highly scattered.

the command room had a control panel with the ship's Intel on it, and next to it the remote panel for the reactor room. It looks like you can bring power back to the ship, instead of running the essential things off of solar panels and sails. You also find ship logs

the other one isn't so lucky with his finds however...

the second the light hit that thing. Its form had revealed itself, its mockery had been unfolded. This thing was large and biomechanical. An exoskeleton wrapped around the skeletal remains of one of the crew, save the organs. Organs which had all sorts of wiring and tubes going in and out of them. They were also shielded by this blue, almost transparent material. The thing's arms had three sword like claws on each arm with the human skeleton arm being crudely snapped halfway up this thing's forearm.

the face of this thing had manifested over the victim's skull. The eyes had been gouged and the sockets were shattered to make way for a different pair of eyes, they two new eyes had smaller, many individual glowing eyes in the socket. And the jaw of this Abomination unhinged like that of a snake as it let out a metallic, gargle scream as the light had revealed it. The thing shoots upright in an unnatural fashion

the legs which had elevated the biomech were spindly, triple jointed legs. There are also many spines sticking out of the things back like a needle bed that the light reveals. The size of this thing casts an ungodly shadow behind it, despite just being 8ft tall

(considering the ship isn't transmitting signals as of it being docked by separate rescue teams and ships, I'm not really looking for more people to join yet.

My people begin as off standard rescue procedure by sending out small robots designed to detect atmosphere and environmental changes throughout the ship, before the combat group splits in to 2 groups of 10 (With respective splits based on where each groups are going), one group begins by splitting off to investigate the medical bay whilst the other heads straight for the command deck both groups prepped for immediate evac and due to the messages heavily armed and ready to attack any creatures presented as hostile with immediate effect.

Furthermore the computer onboard the shuttle has been instructed to overwatch and fire apon any organism that is identified as hostile.

the atmosphere on the ship seems strangely normal, despite the inadequate amount of oxygen present, however, traces of an unknown chemical can be found

the team in the medical bay are greeted documents detailing either sick or injured crew being present here, however, all of the bodies are gone. It's also evident that something was here, the room looked like a bombshell had just hit it

the crew in the control room are greeted with what looks to be a completely autonomous room. Sleek machinery lined the place like a factory. This seemed to not only be a control hub of sorts, but the ship's main junction of resources such as cargo, fuel, energy, etc. But the place is motionless, lifeless, apart from a glowing control panel and the red emergency lights that were gridded along the ceiling

one of the pilots moves closer to touch the man, the rest are aiming at the shard object in their back.

The marine that just saw what was seen, without thinking, had raised intensity without increasing focus, or even trying to aim. Among other things, he was likely to use up too much power at once.

The one with the ability to do so attempts to reactivate the reactor, and if that goes smoothly, looks at the logs.

The group on the command deck begins shuffling through all the data they can find and searches for any way to download the master database from the ship to the engineering lab onboard the battleship, for continued investigation by the crew whilst they continue the search and rescue operation.

The group in the medical bay continues investigating but first informed the battleship to run a lifeform scan along the ship and informed the other group of this discovery, after doing so the medical group begins scanning for any signs of bodily remains or DNA to test and determine any dangers to the crew and to find out what has happened to the crew of this ship.

the ship's database can be downloaded here with autonomous support or remotely and independently at the bridge.

the crew in the medical bay searching for DNA evidence do however come across a huge burn mark on one of the walls. The lifeform scan also shows that nearly all of the crew have nearly no life signs, like they're all on their last inch of their life, some also seem to be in clusters. The rest are dead. They also find other rescue teams, the ones at the hangar Bay, one at the bridge, and another confronted with one of the nearly dead in a deeper part of the ship

but something else to note, there are more signs here than what the ship details in its database. The ship held 57 crew, whilst 90 signs, dead or alive, are present

Setting the computer to begin downloading the core databank to the Mrrshan battleship the group on the command deck begins by looking for a ship schematic to determine where the bridge is in hope of possibly reactivating all primary systems, the group in the medical bay heads back to the first corridor and proceedes to engineering scanning for life or DNA on route to there destination

in response to the multiple rescue teams the Alkari captain sends out a burst transmission in all known languages informing those on board to contact the ship and help possibly rescue the crew of this vessel

as soon as the pilot gets his hand near the person, the hermit crab like creature slashed at his hand and detached itself from the person's back, who is presumed dead after a huge, dry hole was cut into his back by the mechanical parasite. It then scurries from the direction the person had come from

the creature emits a growling noise coupled with the raspy whimpers of breaths from its host. It then shields its eyes from the light as it approaches you, you reckon it won't take long for it to close distance from you, even at walking speed.

the reactor will take a few minutes to get started, but those near the engines and the reactor room (enginering bay, control room) can hear their activity.

the ship's logs can now be viewed vie the bridge. However, it details returning signals, signals from rescue convoys. The signal they got was different from the other that was sent most recently, the first wave of signals sent was the one that the captain who had ordered the Mrrshan and Alkari vessel had heard, seemingly the true signal.

The ship detailed in the first rescue is not seen anywhere in this area, in fact, none of the many ships detailed in the first wave of distress signals can be seen. Either it be by radar, hear signatures, energy signatures, by the naked eye. Nowhere, its like they never existed

the ship's schematics are being downloaded alongside the ship's database. However you feel you won't need to worry about turning on the primary systems as the engine bays and reactor have audible activity. Possibly somebody already got to the bridge

there seems to be 1 life signal in the engineering bay. Alongside 6 dead ones near it

the captain's signal does get sent, however, something blocked it, he knows this because the transmission bounced back to his ship like light hitting a mirror, further attempts resulted in the same outcome

the vacuum suit does nothing to stop the pilot from injury, and they curse under their breath while moving back to the others. the other pilots fire at the crab machine until it either dies or gets away.

The Akyrate within the cryochamber rolled to his right, attempting to detach a second weapon, hidden in the same way. He might just break it midway depending on what he rolls over.

The one in the command viewing the logs pauses to send a message back to ship, to search around... perhaps the message won't work.

Detecting the close life sign the medical group hold up there weapons in a defensive formation as they enter the engineering bay the medic continuously scanning for more life signs and scanning any nearby deceased organisms.

The group on the command deck noticing the sudden activation of systems begins moving at Quicktime after the download is complete towards the bridge in hopes of finding who or what activated the primary systems.

The captain begins detailed scans of the region in hopes of finding what is blocking the transmission and to possibly intercept any transmissions he then proceeds to telepathically inform the boarding teams of what is happening.

the team in the medical bay notice a large mass with dead bodies around it, a pile? Well, that's where all the bodies are. Even the alive one. Then it's starts jerking for a moment. There are also noticeable, and large burn marks on the walls, floor and some of the bodies

However, despite you now knowing where the bridge is, the bridge has been cut off from main corridors, not to mention the gaping hole in the bridge's glass. There are maintenance tunnels to go through however

nothing is showing up. Not a single thing. Any attempts to scan or do anything remote just results in the command coming back to you. Relaying fighters? You got the message, scanning from a ship? You've now got a scan of your own vessel and the empty space around it, transmitting a message? Now you've heard it twice over. However telepathy doesn't seem to be faltered by whatever outside force is preventing you from communicating or doing anything with the other vessels

the Bullets hitting the hermit crab's point shell just ricochet off of it. But some also hit its exposed pipes, it gets away, but not without leaving a trail. It's obviously running to safety, but what's its definition of safety?

the monster slashes at you with its talons, if you're lucky these blades will just nick you or cause minor wounds

the message sent is relayed straight back to you, word for word, like it was never sent. But that's not what's most concerning you, either you can hear distant, metallic footsteps near door leading from the bridge to the rest of the ship, or that you can hear the other soldier in distress. Those footsteps however get nearer, they sound light but many, like a large spider made of feather like metal, like sheets of aluminium. Thinking fast would be ideal. It could be friendly? But would you take the chances? And what about the other soldier?
