The cruiser continues to fire, but it is no longer prioritizing the small vessel, though several shells pass close by. The corvette speeds shakily over the facility, though it's path is slowly deteriorating, if the crew of the ship or retro and his men wish to have any chance of bailing out before they impact on the surface of the shard, now is the time to do it.

The fighter manages to evade the rest of the shots as it speeds out of the ship's arc of fire, throttling down and dipping into the large open hangar, slowly settling to the floor of the gigantic room.
There is silence save for the muffled booming of the EL guns, and the large hangar is dark but for the flickering of several antiquated floodlights set into the walls near the roof, along the left hand side of the hangar there is a ramp leading upward to a raised platform, and around and above the little fighter sits a giant support structure made of an unknown metal, clearly used for holding a ship of cruiser size or greater, it's quite a walk from the center of the hangar to it's edge, but there is nothing to stop the fighter landing anywhere in the room, even on the raised platform, as it is quite wide, and seems to have several doors set in the wall atop it.

The room inside is in fact entirely empty, it is about the size of a large warehouse, and it's only features are three more doors, most likely leading deeper into the facility, ad their positions on the outside of the building match with tunnels to other structures.

What he finds is much the same as the others, there are few viable points of entry, and many less viable ones, he does however notice something, there is a certain resonance in the material of the facility that seems to absorb exotic energy, channeling it through the facility's structure, though to what end it is uncertain, though it does seem to be doing this with the energy emanated by the shard...

The 'blade' flies toward the gun, slicing through the atmosphere toward the gun, it penetrates the casing and slides deep into the turret... which continues firing, the batteries tracking to aim at L now, the only offensive target in line of sight, the heavy shells barrel toward him at uncomfortable speeds, forcing him to use all his concentration to be able to dodge them effectively.

The drone swiftly backs up when the door begins to open, and the others step forward a little, shuffling their feet as their optics screw in their sockets to focus on the point of action, these drones are not like any EL chassis the collective have yet encountered, wide and blocky, with little of the shows of gaudy fineries the drones usually display, they are a rusty red colour, and as the collective android scans indicate this may actually be this colour for a very simple reason, they appear to be cheaply built of common raw materials, using a high quantity of low grade steel and iron for their exterior plating, which is practically falling apart, rusted through.
As the door opens, the drones study the collective androids, a low chatter being the only sound they make, which when decrypted with any common EL ciphers the collective may posess appears to be simply a continuous report of unit functionality and system module degradation. If the lists of internal faults and technical issues that are constantly being regurgitated by these drones are common across the 'staff' of this facility, things seem to be in very poor shape.
The larger silhouette steps into the light... and surprisingly it looks the sameas the others, only larger, it's large blocky frame bigger than even the monitor, and it's optic set in the large obelisk of a head staring down, it contemplates the DC bots for a few seconds, then steps forward, lifting a hand to pull the lead robot's head up so that it's face was bared to the drone's, it stands for a few more seconds before letting go, it's arm returning to it's side.
---You Are Inferior Androids. But You Will Do---
The voice is deep, and is synthesized very badly, a far more basic thought to sound program than the DC would countenance using, it continues to study the androids, speaking in a labored manner, as if it was not used to it.
