A large golden thunder percolates through the region close-by to the manifestation of The Storm. It arcs and jumps through each vessel and through each of the large pieces of the Child that orbit around it now, and soon, its effect takes place, as if all of these targeted beings were dragged out into space, cut into a trillion trillion small pieces into a screen of gas.
Then, the golden thunder rolls back, collapsing the pieces and points back together, and devolves back into the storm, as if nothing happened. The memory of their deaths is but a smudge in their minds and beings. The only thing left behind is a weird and terrible noise of oscilatting metals, which soon subsides back into the quietness of space.

The single drone is met face-to-face with the kaleidoscope of meshing colors obscured by the golden particulates of the strange phenomena. It seems to beckon the drone inwards, enveloping it in thin tendrils of the golden manifestation. The controls of the drone, if remotly controlled or automated, seem to be somewhat erratic.

Scanning the area from further away reveals an interesting notion. Despite the obvious lack of actual data coming from the scans, being simply a jumbled mess of many different things observed and not in space, a plot of this "weirdness" can be mapped out as to see what influence it has on the scans. It seems, as logic would dictate, that the closer to it one gets, the more erratic reality itself becomes.

The ship enters the golden glove without much carefulness for its own safety, dunking themselves in what can be their last mission. The ship is surrounded by ephemerous golden particulates quickly, and is engulfed within. ten minutes pass without much hinderance, until...
All of the crewmembers wake up from their quarters. Deorientated. Looking outwards they appear to be at a standstill within the storm, but with no orientation as to where they came from or where they were exactly heading. All of the sides look like the same meshing colors in the background occulted by the golden particulates, but the weirdest was yet to come.
Checking the logs of the ship and the supplies, it seems that they were flying within the phenomena for a minimum of five days. Most of the logs are erased and most of the internal and external cameras simply didn't work, but the few that did remain show a great deal of inconsistencies that only got weirder as they dwelved deeper into the files.
First: It started with the whole crew gathered in the largest room of the ship, they were all at a standstill facing a specific direction for what seems to be accounted as one hour, one minute and one second. Then, they all dispersed and went back to their positions.
There appear to be more logged recordings.
