Not the worst ship I've ever seen, but you could definitely make some major improvements and make this vessel a powerful warship.

The firepower is quite limited - many, many, many more guns could (and should) go on the vessel. It's got tons and tons of space internally for more turret weapons, and plenty of space even still for side-mounted weapons.
Speaking of internal space, there's too much of it. Since it's a modded ship vs. a competitive MP ship, this isn't a huge deal, but the amount of just empty space or large chunks of fairly pointless armor blocks could be far better utilized.
As an extension of the last point, the internal layout is not efficient. While this isn't of absolute importance on such an expensive, non-competitive MP vessel, it could still significantly improve it's combat effectiveness. Placing crew power sources, and ammo factories far closer to the weapons and internal parts would help improve the design and allow more weapons to fire for longer, as well as keep the shields and engines running almost indefinitely. The main limiting factor is the fact that crew must travel exceptionally long distances to arm and power the ship's parts, leading to massive inefficiencies.
There are other, small points, like a general lack of thrusters (the ship is slow, even by "dreadnought" standards imo), but these are of less importance at the moment, and can be refined in the future.

Astrum Yeah I'm not being competitive in any way but I do use it in bounty hunter once in a while when I can. so if it's more powerful then it can work better

damkiller It's not a matter of being competitive, which I stated in my reply. It's more about improving the design as much as possible even though it is modded. The same principles of vanilla design can be applied here, vastly improving it's design, regardless of the usage of mods.

Im talking about the naming scheme a light dread is like saying you have a light super battleship it doesint make sense. And i disagree with both light and heavy dreads existing.

Altraxia dafeeeeeeeeeesh damkiller I agree with fesh. A dreadnaught is a dreadnaught. The only role with heavy and light is the cruiser. And that’s because they are so different and flexible. The difference between a cruiser and battlecruiser is so large they needed another class. There I no light dreadnaught

It isint because the concept of dreadnaught is the largest possible vessel/class, your making a heavy dreadnaught that's rather redundant. More pressing is the class you've though up reasons for reason for existing, is to make a comparision to non heavies. The class is self nessesitating theirs no point, wow heavy dreadnaught cool that doesint tell me anything about the vessel besides it being heavier then the heaviest ship you have. A dreadnought, by definition (at least in sci-fi) is heavy, you can't have a light heavy thing it doesint work from a naming prospective nor logical prospective.

MadStar for my fleet the largest/heaviest ship is the fathership class.
