The figure is taken aback by the sudden act of charity, given the relatively high prices they were charging just moments ago. That certainly doesn't mean they're complaining however, the light shifting of robes to the rear of their waist betraying their excitement slightly...
The cube is tucked away into the robes, obscured.
"Your generosity in our time of need will not go unappreciated. Should you ever require aid, the VWP is indebted to you."
With that, they unceremoniously leave in much the same way they arrived.

Once out of the system and en route back to VWP territory, Kotaii pulls down his hood, it was far to temperate in that cave. Now to see what the HI are packing...
He reaches behind his scarred ear, pulling out a cable with what could truly be described as a universal adapter, in that it remotely scans and interprets the data of whatever it's pressed up against. The tech alone is hard to come by, being a recent development, but what would intrigue even the most devoted implantor even more, is what goes on after the cable sneaks underneath his matte black fur, but that can wait for a later date.
As he scans the cube, he boots his "rig" (Why does standard make everything sound so... standard) a device that fully overrides sensory input from across the user's body to a representation of data. While hard to know due to the simple lack of a consistent unit of measurement, its generally accepted that a basic rig can increase the user's browsing and interacting speed by at least tenfold.
"Stepping" into the cyberspace he gets the familiar feeling of someone looking over his shoulder, despite not technically having a shoulder right now.
"Hello dear, they delivered on their promises I believe... no, no they didn't want anything back after all... yeah, we might hear from them again, allow for that when you do your guesswork... you're right, no time like the present."
Having completed his half of a conversation none could hear, let alone comprehended, he cracks open the wealth of information stored in the cube...
