In response to the Chief Engineer's offer

Winds of change 1/2 - Brief faction update

During the last months, Caelyra isolated itself and cut all expedition and participation in the galactic scene due to 2 tragic encounters with forces much more powerful and advanced than the honorable and courageous IRSA. So it was concluded that a change was essential if Caelyra wanted to make of her will one that was respected, and feared.

So a great reform was started to update and improve the old imperial fleet, as well as improve doctrine and training to allow better performance by the crews. And not only that, with the reform comes a restructuring of the current naval system that IRSA maintained but that was already obsolete. New classes of ships will allow for greater flexibility and new strategies that are already being explored by the great minds behind the new IRSA.

Currently, the reform is half completed, with the smallest and most easily produced ships being completed, although it is the right thing and the most sensible thing to do, because such ships are the pillars of the new "great IRSA". For now, only one new capital ship has been produced, and that is largely due to the cooperation and assistance that Jinaris provided to Caelyra. Such ship shares its same name with the ship class, taking the role of lead ship. The name is "Sigmund Kroeger", which refers to one of the great heroes who fought in the great sad night. The ship is a 7km long battlecruiser, making it the largest ship ever built by Caelyra, but only for now. 2 more ships of the same class are planned to be completed soon and free up the space they occupy in the shipyards for the construction of other ship classes.

After a long period of peace and prosperity with the Jinaris Empire after the imperial government helped Caelyra's naval forces to rise up, a diplomatic ship being escorted by two destroyers left the warp speed in Caelyra's home system, the ship then sends a transmission to the home planet saying:
