Moira Series
Exquisite 1mil Laser-FLAK-walls started as troubled 750K
Moira Original: Excellent Weapons and PD loadout/layout and good thrust but hopelessly undercrewed - when the alphastrike is done has to go to a reloading loop - often became a death trap for its own crew, still decided to evolve it. (dark left most.)
Moira 2 (F): Second generation upped to 1mil Credits mostly adding more Souls! Also more PD. It Instantly was clear this is a deadly Vessel able to deal with many situations. success! (Steel Grey/Blue)
Moira 3 (mk2): First Vessel of the series utilizing medium Rreactors + completely new thruster arrangement.
Sadly beeing undercrewed again and also the new layout didnt work out so well. To much small reactors on board.
making an mk2 with small changes did not help either. fail. (Dark Grey/Blue)
Moira 4: Back to the layout of the #2 but with well armored medium reactors that also feed the thrusters - so it could have less small reactors and more Souls again. Moira back in the game! (Tangerine Orange)
Moira 4 A: Slightly lighter armored + 4 more souls - cannot rly say if #4A or the #4 is better. (Baby Blue)
Moira 4 B: Just another update + 2 souls to the #4 but still a bit lighter then the #4A. (Apple Green)
Moira 4 C: The only Moira with Boost Thrusters - one pair charged with engine room the other solo -> so one
pair gives more boost but the other lasts longer - can be used so the booster pairs alternate, making this the most maneuverable ship of the series. Ending the series with a success! (Cosmic Magenta/Pink)
Moira 5: Motivated by the cosmoteer update 0.15.8 the series was continued
More crew, more thrust, more armor, more ammo ...
The "5" accelerates faster then the "4 C" - however the "4 C" has two boosters not connected to the engine room and thus a single boost phase lasts longer. (Vigorous Grey/Orange)
