At the edge of one of the capital system of The Birdium Republic, there was something rather interesting going on.
Using large-scale sensors, likely produced in the quite extensive though low-grade factories of the alliance, they could detect a weird phenomena, a bubble if you will.
That specific bubble was really emanating some weird signals, the space there seemingly turning over itself, shifting, percolating in ripples of uncertainty, it was a sea of anomalies contained within a small area, truly something unexpected and unseen for the scientists of the Republic.
Nevertheless as it started so it had to end, but this particular anomaly, though ending before any ship could reach it, did leave something behind: A small ship, fighter-esque in style, smooth-black in hull, and silent in communications. It lay there idle, awaiting for someone to contact it.
