United Planets Of America
Backstory:
The UPA was formed in 2134 following the destruction of the Solar System and the relocation of the human race to the Felucia System. The reason for the founding of the UPA was to sort of make a United States 2.0. Its purpose was to establish a multi-planet democracy, sort of like the states of America. Another purpose of the UPA was to revive the long-dead USA, as communism was rising once again.
Location:
The UPA is mainly centered on the planet " Ulynor," which is one of the 16 planets in the Felucia System. Ulyonr's resource-rich lands and Earth-like appearance and climate made it the main spot for multiple countries. The UPA also owns three other planets, namely, Sijuran(A large resource world), Gandoran(A medium-sized world with several important bases and cities), and Kuphus(A large world with many shipyards and naval ports).
Where they are at now
The UPA has gained its reputation as boasting a powerful navy of 500 fleets. Its immense manufacturing capabilities, stable economy, and large population have made it a superpower in the large Felicia system. The UPA is also known for buying defense corporations that have created powerful naval weapons. An example of this was when they bought the SEDSSF from the electricity company "SE" for over a trillion US dollars. (This is just an excuse for me to be lazy and not replace the SEDSSF decals on most of my ships)
Government:
UPA's government follows the same democratic style as the USA. It has a House of Representatives, Congress, and Supreme Court.
President:
The president of the UPA is an extremely powerful person. The president of the UPA is more powerful than the president of the USA. He or she has the power to colonize planets, start wars without congress's permission(with a good reason). He or she can also override a congressional approval, with the approval of the House of Representatives.
The current sitting president of the UPA is Alexander Hill.
Congress:
Congress has all the same powers as it had in the days of the USA, the power to declare war, taxes, etc.
House of Representatives:
Same powers, blah blah.
Supreme Court:
The Supreme Court is slightly more powerful than the one in the days of the USA. It has the ability to remove judges if other judges have a suspicion he is biased.
Armed Forces:
The UPA's armed forces are the most powerful in the Felucia system. They are highly organized and are equipped with deadly weapons. They consist of the divisions listed below:
Ground Forces:
The UPA ground forces are the largest division of the UPA armed forces. These planetary assault troops are equipped with multiple aircraft and landing craft.

United Planets Naval Space Forces (U.P.N.S.F)
The UPNSF fleet is a large naval force consisting of 400 fleets.
Each fleet contains at least 100-200 ships. This included destroyers, Cruisers, Frigates, Carriers, and Frigates.
The only exception to this fleet arrangement is that the first five UPNSF fleets contain 500 ships. These fleets contain dreadnaughts, supercarriers, battleships, carriers, cruisers, destroyers, Frigates, and Corvettes

Special Navies:
Southeast Electric Defense Solutions Space Forces(SEDSSF)
The SEDSSF was formerly a defense solutions division of an electricity company called "SE." Ever since the UPNSF took control of the SEDSSF, it has become a small force containing powerful and experimental ships. The SEDSSF currently has ten fleets, each containing 500 ships. These fleets are outfitted with dreadnaughts and battleships, sometimes containing smaller ships.

United Planets Naval Space Forces Marines (U.P.N.S.F.M)
The UPNSFM is a special division of the UPNSF. This branch consists of 90 specialized fleets, each containing ships that aren't used in the main naval force.
Technology
The UPA is not that advanced when compared to many other factions(like the Crimsion Imperium). The UPA's greatest achievements include the reverse engineering of several parts from large capital ships.
Weapons Technology
"LPPSL-12 Lancer"
A large spinal equipped super laser. Often nicknamed the "Death Star," the PTXL-12 is a weapon that secures the UPA's military might. With the capability to cut large vessels in half, this power weapon has only been seen on one class of dreadnaught.
"LPPSL-13 Super Lancer"
A powerful lancer based weapon, this version is just like the LPPSL-12, but it is equipped with many more booster modules. This gives it the ability to cut through three layers of ceramite in two shots. Though, it is not used in any dreadnaught. Its only disadvantage is its range.
X-78 Experimental Cyrstal Powered Super Lancer(ECPSL)
The ECPSL is a variation of the UPNSF's standard issue lancer and the super lancer variants. The ECPSL was a much shortened and slightly more powerful version of a Super Lancer. Needing the power of an entire metropolis, the ECPSL was a rare sight on ship classes. It can be mainly seen on Slayer class Battleships, Mandator I and II class battleships, and the Vaporizer I and II Classes Dreadnaughts.
HRFL-1 Turbolaser system
Standard issue technology for large ships(battlecruisers and above). This laser system is a main anti-capital weapon for large UPNSF ships. These "turbolasers" were developed after the need to replace aging MK 1 cannon turrets on large ships.(Though, MKII Cannon turrets are placed on ships, not many of them are placed.)
"PTXL-01 Proton Torpedo"
One of the most powerful torpedos of the UPA navy, this weapon can blow apart dreadnaughts. This weapon is currently equipped on dreadnaughts only.
"HMBC-01 Broadside Cannon"
A standard dreadnaught equipped broadside cannon has the ability to pound ship hulls and exposed cannons.'
"HAMR-01 Anti Material Cannon"
Nicknamed the "Hammer" by its gunners, this cannon can penetrate several layers of Platanium Armor. Its long-range attack systems and high penetration have made it a common sight on anti-ship cannons. Unfortunately, the cannon reloads very slowly.
Fighter Technology:
"Varitech"
A form of mechanized fighters, these deadly mecha can transform into multiple modes. These Varitechs are highly customizable, making them one of the most deadly UPA weapons.
Production/protection Technology:
"FSG-01 Shield Generator"
A small shield generator for fighters. It can protect against light laser fire. equipped on all fighters(excluding Varitechs)
"AMG-01 Anti-Matter Generator"
A large anti-matter generator for proton torpedos. Produces small amounts(due to technological constraints)
"ECMA-01 Sound Proofed Ceramite Armor"
An alloy of DISC, Durasteel, EMC-12, and Platanium, this thick armor is equipped on all post-2235 UPA atmospheric ships. (excluding fighters)
"EHDDPTA-01 Ceramite Amor"
An alloy of Heavy Durasteel, Doonium, Protanium, and EMC-12, this thick armor is a common sight on post-2235 UPA ships. The armor's powerful HEavy Durasteel layers and nearly impenetrable EMC-12 out layer make it a powerful anti-everything armor.
"HAMA-12 Tank Armor"
This missile resistant armor is commonly found on tanks and mechs. Only used int he UPA ground forces.
