Length... The length of a ship is calculated often in meters with 1 meter= 1 tile. The thing is that your ship is 2 times shorter than you think if you measure it like that. Why? Let me explain.
Two people can fit in a meter of a straight line, for example:
4 people are waiting at a bagel store in a line. The line is about 2 meters long.
This means that with the huge ships mod, your ships have a maximum length of 500 meters.

Super_Mapper this makes no seance. 500 tiles is 500 meters, 1000 tiles is a km. Simple, your over complicating a simple thing.
Two crew can comfortably fit onto one tile.
They also wait in a stack of 240 if it really comes to it
2 people can fit in a 1m tile,but what's that got to do with length? I mean,it's not like the crew can somehow warp the space around them,or have them be 1 meter thicc....
My point is: It doesn't matter if 2 crew can fit in 1 tile, the scale is still the same

If 1 tile= 1 meter then the crew are super thick. They would be 1 meter from shoulder to shoulder and from back to chest about 0.75 meters. That is unnatural. Cuz it is EXTRA THICK.
