The Year is 29 ABY. With the public formation of the First Order, The First Order no longer needed the Blood Monger Imperium to design their ships for them(up until this point the Blood Mongers had designed most of their ships for them). After a short war between the First Order and the Monger Imperium, The Imperium collapsed. the Mongers fled to the Cosmoteer galaxy after utilizing a Nexus-Portal. Due to the collapse of the Imperium, there was a brief state of anarchy as many sub-factions fought for who should be in power.
In the end, a Civilian- led Representative Democracy took over the Blood Mongers, angering many military leaders. In a grand military exodus, nearly 45 % of the Blood Monger military left, going to another part of the Cosmoteer galaxy and setting up a loose triumvirate of power.
(I'm gonna improve that history later.)
Advanced Tech:
Nexus Portals.
The Nexuses were giant pyramids in space, left behind as the legacy of the mighty primordials. Exactly twelve Nexus pyramids have been discovered by the Blood Ragen. Any ship which comes too close to it is sucked up by a portal, into a random location, which turned them into no-go zones for ships. But after a while, the Blood Ragen learnt to manipulate these portals to their own will, even making it their lead FTL tech. The portals have no limit to their size, except that anything more than a few kilometers needs additional energy, which can get costly. Each portal has a range of 5000 lightyears, and combining the powers of more than one exponentially increases its range, which is how the BR got to this galaxy. Of course, this isn’t without it’s downsides, as the radiation from exponentially increasing each Portal’s power can easily penetrate through a radiation shield, and a large portion of the population died as they came through the portal- but in 5 years of procreation, they have reached a stable population, spread out relatively evenly across their planets.
Political Structure:
The Triumvirate:
Grand Admiral Zos'Mran'vuacirs, a Chiss with a long and distinctive history of strategic victories. Leads the Zaren fleet.
High General Mesula, a female Blood Monger with dozens of ground battle victories under her belt. Leads all ground forces.
Grand Admiral Rivaan, a Male Blood Monger with many political connections, as well as a very strategic mind. Leads the Home Fleet, and handles most politics as well as most logistics.
Military Ranks:
Admiral: Commands fleets of numbers greater than 50 ships.
Rear Admiral: Commands fleets of numbers less than 50 ships.
Senior captain: Commands 2-8 ships of Battlecruiser class or less. May command 1-2 Battleships.
Captain: Command 1 ship, of Battlecruiser class or less. Battleships must be commanded by senior Captain or higher.
First Officer: Secondary officer on a ship. Has the authority to take over if Captain is incapacitated.
Spacers: Other officers on ship. can be 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class, or 4th class.
Planets
29 planets, 8 gas giants, 56 space habitats, 2 large shipyards,30 small shipyards/refueling stations. The total population is:
2.5 billion involved in the military, 3 billion civilians. (This faction was created by the military, so there is a reason for such a large military population.)
Capital:
The Blood Ragen's capital isn't an actual planet, it is a space station, known as the Excalibur station. It is an unfinished FO Super Star Destroyer. In emergency cases, it can jump to hyperspace, but the ability has never been tested.
Ships:
The Ultimatium, flagship of the Home FLeet, only one fully functioning one exists.
The Eclipse, a mini Eclips class dreadnoguht. three exist.
Imperial Star Destroyer: Several dozen of these exist, they are, along with Nemesis class destroyers, the ship of the line for the Blood Ragen.
Here are the Nemesis class Battlecruisers.
Nemesis class battleships:
The Mercurial class cruiser
Cannon light cruiser: It is tiny, but due to it's payload of heavy cannon shells, it can fight ships 2.5x it's size.
