"My name hardly matters, I'm just a representative, you'll likely not see me again in a long time, if ever!"
The lizard lets out a small chuckle amidst his speech, and waves away the question from Victor, deflecting it. he picks a bottle from the cabinet and removes a small lid from its top. It seems to be some kind of wine, though it is red and sweet, with a very low alcoholic content. Hence, a wine by nature, glorified grape juice in truth.
He pours a bit onto a chalice made out of pure and clear glass cut at few angles, it swerves inside and revolts a bit within its container. The opulent scent of the drink is pleasent and refreshing. He takes a small swig after putting the bottle away at the cabinet, and continues to speak.
"Yes, we watched the battle from afar. We decided to save up our resources due to the fact that the majority of the galactic community didn't appear there, we were all but ready to evacuate our territory, fully expecting the Deltas to enact some sort of... grand explosion. However, they simply dissapeared and left..."
The gaze of the lizardman hvoers towards his right a bit. Almost as if omniscient and sentient, the light shining from The Storm makes itself known, shining straight through the wall and basking both of the men talking. It's a feeling and a phenomena that happens often, perhaps even many times on the daily. After so long, the galaxy's grown used to it.
"Perhaps they left something even more misterious than themselves.
It has also become common knowledge to our people that the Deltas possesed powerful beings within their ranks, you likely met one of them. We didn't get the... chance, luckly, to meet them. Even our most powerful connection was afraid of what one of them could do. Sometimes I'm glad that this kind of power wasn't with someone else, I mean, yes, they were horrible, but with their assets, they could very well have vaporized all of this galaxy!
I guess why they didn't do it will remain a mistery..."
