Daiaurufu-Garu (There are many species in the forumverse. The ones that come to mind are: Humans (and their variations), Foxes from the VWP, Lizards from the MISE, Avians from the Irri, The Deltas had some species of their own and they aren't the standard humans, there's a lot more but that's what I remember for now.
In my opinion, if you want to be really creative with your faction you should make a species of your own with its own interesting dynamics, just be careful not to make a race of supersoldiers, because that's just lame.
