I 'd like to introduce some of my ships as new faction. I 've built them all in a specific style and painted them in the Montezuma's Revenge corporate identity. I 've tried to find a good Balance beteween a nice look and effectivity. These constructions are named after some ships from the X3 Game-Series, but they are not built after the original ones. I just like these names...
Background:
The Montezuma's Revenge faction is located In the Orion-Formation in the "M42- System", known as the tip of Orion's sword, i little bit in the south of Orion's belt. A spot thats easy visible even from the Earth and known for most humanoid factions, but never was a point of interrest, since there are no known life-friendly Planets and it doesnt seems like there are very much Ressources available for mining.
So its assumed, this faction has found a way to survive in Space without any connection to a Home-Planet.
Life-form:
Most of the Biomass of the montezumas- Revenge faction is bacterial-life-based and visible as a green shining dust. They seem to be available to survive in space, as long they are under the influenced by a certain degree of gravity. Its not known how this is exactly possible. UV-light seems to have a very positiv influence to their reproduction-rate.
Its also known that some humanoid Charackters are living in a symbiotic relationship and are part of this mostly bacterial-life colony.
History: This faction uses the language of Nahuatl, so its assumed they must have had some relation to the aztecs on the earth back in the 16. century and maybe helped them in their war against the spanish invaders, but not very sucessful. Scientists assume, they have captured some of the most important society-elite people of the aztects, and their descendants are todays humanoid charackters inside their faction, wich live in a highly artificial environment since they have no home-planet.
Economic strenght:
Its almost nothing known about their economic capabilities or about their fleet's size. Scientists assume, that these bacterias are able to produce parts of their needed ressources through chemical processes by themselves. Its also suggested that they dont need any shipyards, and that they can "materialize" their ships in a very slowly production process witch needs no extensive Infrastructure.
Allies and Enemies:
At the moment there is no diplomatic status at all to the most factions, since this faction is widely unknown.
Shortly they made a contact to The New Offworld faction by @DocSlime, but its not known for what purpose exactly.
The known constructions are all sized between fighters up to Battleships and all of them uses FTL-drives with a good efficiency to be playable in the campaign. I added the whole fleet to the great community ships mod.
No mods required.

Tonbo - light to medium Fighter:
The Tonbo is not specificly fast, but even without shield surprisingly resistant for its size. Effective in small groups, equipped with 4 basic lasers and a point- defense - system facing backwards.

Rajin - medium Fighter:
A little bit faster then the Tonbo, the Rajin is another fighter in service of the Montezuma's Revenge faction. He doesnt use shields too, and is eqipped with 3 standard Cannons and an electric bolt to get them in good use even against shielded enemies. Uses 2 point - defense systems too.
The Rajin is famous for his slightly asymmetric design.

Mako - heavy Fighter:
The Mako is the smallest fighter in this faction carrying a front shield. This alows him to combat enemies with a highter value, but he still should be used in small groups. He's armed with an electro bolt and 4 basic lasers, but is weak against Rockets.

Medusa - Corvette:
The Medusa is a small but powerful little corvette. Uses as main- weapons 2 Ion beam Emitters and is protected to the front by a double Layer of shields. The secondary armament is 2 Electro-bolts and 4 basic lasers. The Medusa is also good manouverable and uses 4 point defense systems. She's a real danger to much larger ships, especilly when used in groups.

Tenjin - Corvette:
The Tenjin is a another corvette that is able to support the Medusa pretty nicely. Uses 7 standard canons, 5 of them can aim to a target at one time. Most effective in combat, if he rotates from time to time ~30 degrees around his axis. Hes something between a front - and a broatside fighter, initially just a study. Uses 2 electric bolts and 3 point defense systems and is famous for his asymmetric design too.

Guppy - Corvette:
The Guppy carries like the Tenjin 7 standard Cannons, but hes a classic broatside fighter and uses 6 basic lasers, 4 electro bolts and is able to defend missiles. Has a pretty good armor for its size, but should be turned ~ 180 degrees around his axis in combat if he takes focussed fire. Can be quite resistant in longer fights, but should not take on much larger enemies then himself.

Vidar - Corvette:
The Vidar is a light corvette with just light weapons: 1 E-Bolt, 4 lasers and some missile-defense on each side. What makes him strong is the use of multible shield layers and heavy armor. He's pretty cheap and can be dangerous to much higher value enemies.

Sperber - light Bomber:
The Sperber is the first and up to the time painfully missed Bomber class in this faction. But be aware, its just a light Ship equipped with 2 missile launchers, to fight the enemy and stay at the highest possible distance while doing that. If he gets under fire, he will be toast in a second. To avoid that as best as possible, he's extremly manouverable and fast in forward and backward flight as well and has a good missile-defence. Like every ship of this type, it should be controlled manually..

Senshi - Medium Bomber
The Senshi is a Medium Bomber and pretty much the same Concept like the Sperber. He uses 4 Missile-launchers with a fast firerate. Should keep the highest possible distance to his enemies, because no shields are installed and he has just a light front - armor. He is very fast and manouverable in all directions.

Karacke - light cruiser:
The Karacke is pretty much like the bigger Brother of the Guppy. Carries 6 standard cannons on each side, electro bolts and missile defense. Should be handled the same way in combat. The bow is a bit weak (cause the AI mostly targets the e-bolts there), but thats ok, he can continue the combat without his front section if needed. The broatsides are partially double- shielded.

Mobula - Cruiser:
The Mobula is a very manouverable cruiser built for close combat against Elite Enemies. He uses 4 large cannons and 2 standard cannons, a couple of lasers, e-bolts and is protected by Shields and point - defense systems. Should be handled like every broatside ship and turn around his axis while fighting.

Mjölllnir: Cruiser (NEW!!)
Its something like a "Pocket Maccana". Smaller, cheaper, better painted and more efficient. But be aware: It carries 8 heavy cannons at each side!

Maccana Version A - heavy Cruiser:
The Maccana Version A is a heavy cruiser that terrifyies hes enemies even on sight. While using massive, multilayered shields she is dangerous to heavy ships with her 14 lasers and 5 e-bolts on each side. Its one of my best and most elegant builts so far.

Maccana Version B - heavy cruiser:
The Maccana Version B carries 3 e-bolts, 2 heavy - and 6 standard cannons instead of lasers on each side. She's able to fight at a slightly higher distance then the A-Version.

Pteranodon - Cruiser (EXPERIMENTAL)
The Pteranodon is the first frontside- fighting Cruiser of the Fleet. Its equipped with highly experimental weapons like rail-guns!
Ares - Battleship:
The Ares is the most pupular Battleship in the Montezumas Revenge faction and a result of much experience in building large ships in cosmoteer. It uses the same basic design like the mobula, just much larger. Carries no missiles at all, but 3 large cannons, 8 standard cannons and a couple lasers and e-bolts on each side. It can nicely defend missile salvos too.
The crew is splitted into 9 separate sections in this ship, wich allows the fight to continue even if its taking heavy damage, and it makes the services much faster that way. It is extraordinarily good armored and has a double layer of shields on the broadsides, what is making this ship very resistant even against much higher value battleships.

Montezuma - Superdreadnoght:
The Montezuma is a Superdreadnought-class Battleship. With his extremly strong, tripple layered shielding and his versatile Armament he can beat practicly everything out there in the Cosmos.. The Crew is splitted up in 20 different sections, so that they can get their work done pretty efficient. He also uses 4 controlrooms in different positions.
You wanna eat a Cerberus for Breakfast? - Call him! It's easy!
