Fluff
The Taoran Empire was founded barely 200 years ago when discontend monarchists left poisoned Earth behind. They soon established a powerful merchant marine that allowed them to fund one of todays most powerful navies. While few in numbers the Navy ships are one of the most durable and deadly force in the galaxy using technology acquired by alien races. Over the last decades the Empire expanded rapidly coming in conflict with many human and alien factions.

The TNS AC Beam Corvette a nimble and evasive opponent burning its targets with an ion beam from afar.
The TNS BC Blaster Frigate is a fast vessel with a shield generator and four front mounted lasers.
Designed as an escort ship the TNS PD Escort Destroyer accompanies battleships and dreadnoughts, providing missile coverage.
TNS CC Hammer Destroyer chews through shields with its electro bolts and ravages the enemies insides with cannons.
With under 140kt the lightweight TNS DC Beam Light Cruiser is nearly as fast flying backwards as forwards, giving it time to incinerate the enemy ships with its three ion beams.
Faster than any large craft, the EC Missile Cruiser carries a complement of 12 missiles, which are used on its pursuers.
Designed to destroy weapons of large ships and pick of swarms of smaller one, the FC Blaster Battle Cruiser BS Mk 3 is a broadside variant.
TNS GC Hammer Battleship Mk2 16 front mounted cannons and six electro bolt launchers annihilate anything in its path.
Replacing the GC Hammer as the largest ship with a crew of nearly 200 and massing over 1200kt is the broadside power horse HC Hammer Battleship. THORS HAMMER, built as the first of its kind, serves as flagship of the Navy. Its firing positions are heavily shielded and hard to take out while rotating. It is also the first ship in the fleet to make use of armored gun positions.
Known Enemies
The Navy has encountered several alien ships. Concerning are the reports of large cube shaped ships.
A GC Battleship-class Cube was seen scouting bordering territories.
An even larger cube could be stopped invading a rim system by several responding battle cruisers.
Recently the 2nd Taoran Navy Exploration Fleet encountered these terrorist scum claiming to be from the Mesan Alignment. A handfull of their missile ships send 600 rockets at the fleet and only the valiant effort of several PD Escort frigates saved the flagship GC THORS HAMMER from major damage.
