(Sorry for the long wait, seems like we're all prepared!)
Scanning the nearby planet, several thousand lifeforms are detected, all in the similar coma-like state the crew of the fleet are in. While drones have been keeping them alive, no progress has happened on the planet for quite some time; local markets, town centres, and even monuments to a giant dragon-like figure are now crowded only by drones and creatures left in an almost permanent state of slumber... Some are even identifiably human?
"As you may be able to see, every single person on our world has been reduced to a silenced state. If you're wondering what happened, it connects to B.L.A.D.E. when it collapsed... Assuming you're heard of it."
Outside of the system, the organic mass would begin to grow calcified spikes on its surface, pointing in all directions. The mass itself would be turning into a more sickly colour again as this activity happened...
(The Trident, being an almost comically small vessel, only features one opening, namely its rear engine has been adjusted to also work as a docking port when required. However, this opening was currently inactive, and trying to dock would pose serious risk. A boarding from the top would be preferable.)
The crew, united in the same space, would watch as Merc deflates, some taking note of the capability.
Aldrin: "Huh... That's... Interesting? Merc looked more metallic at first glance..."
Eslie: "If I had to guess, it's probably an internal sac, Aldrin; it depressurizes while still giving Merc their external armouring... Seems to be a pretty effective design, I'm surprised we didn't think of it... We, as in the Brotherhood."
Aldrin: "Ah... That's pretty neat!"
Corvus: "Sorry if I'm interrupting, but we have... Yet another anomaly happening at the edge of the system. Several Energy Pulses of similar distance and intensity... I have determined it to be highly likely that they are artificial."
Dice would sigh after Corvus finished speaking, already having a lot on his hands...
"Dice": "Alright then... Corvus, keep that under tabs, but there's a more important matter on our hands."
Corvus: "The unidentified fighter has left the system, correct?"
"Dice": "No, it's cloaked! Do you have any means of detecting a hidden vessel around us?"
Corvus would remain steady for a couple of seconds, thinking about what could be done...
Corvus: "Although some sort of felt activity would allow us to triangulate its location, I could try thrashing my vines at the surrounding space; if it hits anything, then the ship is most likely nearby."
"Dice": "Understood, Corvus. Set that up, but give Aldrin and Eslie their Ballistic Armour; they're going to need it at this rate."
Corvus: "Very well."
Dice would look aside as Corvus began setting up, thinking to himself... Who'd brand ballistic armour so identifiably...?
