Eslie watched the fleet jump off.
Eslie: "Well, there they go... Hopefully things will be better at home in due time."
Aldrin would glance to the left of where the ship was, remaining unaware of its actual size. That's when he spots the fighter jumping in.
Aldrin: "Uh, guys?"
Corvus: "Contact noticed, Aldrin. Engaging Communications now."
Aldrin: "Well, I'll be right back..."
Eslie would glance at Aldrin as he waved, before sprinting back to Dice. She'd look back at the approaching fighter, trying to make out where it was from... As well as why it was following them.
Dice would finish customizing "Merc" when Aldrin came back into the room.
Aldrin: "Heyyy, Dice?"
"Dice": "What's up, kid? Anything happen on the comms?"
Aldrin: "Well, the fleet was okay, but now we have an unidentified fighter in the system..."
"Dice": "Corvus, get me visual on the approaching fighter!"
Corvus: "That isn't exactly possible at the moment..."
"Dice": "... Shoot. Merc, buddy, you online? Can you display the fighter?"
Back in the communications room, Eslie and Corvus' primary mass would attempt to finish opening communications with the ships, when an anomalous reading begins to pop up.
Eslie: "Communications online, Corvus?"
Corvus: "96.4% Complete- WHAT THE?"
Eslie: "Corvus? What's going on?!"
Corvus: "There is an anomalous gravity field nearby. I will try to hasten communications, but the effects of this anomaly are still ongoing."
Eslie: "... Oh Queen, help me now."
Corvus: "Communications are stable with Scevtronics vessel. Shall I contact them, or would you be willing to, Eslie?"
Eslie: "Corvus, do you think I have time to commune while an unidentified vessel is approaching?! Contact Scevtronics, I'm getting the Five-Sevens!"
Corvus would stare quietly while beginning the transmission, unsure if they were actually helpful...
//Receiving Transmission//
"Greetings, Scevtronics traders. I am Corvus of the Exclusion 107 Vessel Trident, and we would be interested in trade, though we do indeed hope the other nearby vessel is friendly."
The Accent of the voice in the speaker was recognisably one of a Domini Naturae specimen, but far less deep and menacing in tone, especially compared to other members of the species...
