Tyaestysu Yeah, ship classes are now on a back flame. I still update them but don't always test and easily forgotten.

line Please download this latest fix. Also as a reminder different ship classes' parts cannot be mixed. If you want them all use terran only.

Tyaestysu This should be the last one. The thing is my own version is always up to date or always moving on and like in this case has the secret parts available so it wouldn't crash for me regardless. So fixing already released versions is kind of tricky because new changes could break old stuff. It's simply the additional problem of different versions existing at the same time.

Lafiel I don't know if that has been reported before, but the mod caused a sound error when trying to fire two 180° tech 2 phaser arrays using auto-fire mode.
This is what I assume to be the important part of the error log, if you need anything else, just say so:

CursedPh4nt0m Thanks. I'll look it up. It's a rare error and, frankly, only due to some special rule. Will, take a while to figure where this actually comes from, though. Looks like the rule has been enforced and expanded since it was fine before.

Edit: I've updated the stats to avoid this so some might be louder now. Re-uploaded. The error might still come up with parts but since vanilla has similar settings I dunno if I should do anything.

Is it posibel to seperate the 3 grouups of tec 1 in order to lower the ammount of stuff one one tab, or somehow reorganize everything into seperate catagories? I would aso suggest making all the anti-matter stuff one section, population, etc. (Tec1Group1:weaponry, Tec1Group1:population etc.) I can certainly help with that but I have no moding experience unfortunately. I like the way it is done on the wiki but I don't know if you can have a dropdown in the menu, I can visulize it in my head but I don't know how to explain it.

Blstel It's not possible to create sub menus for the editor menus. I certainly can create more editor groups but it would fill up the top spaces and frankly I don't have time to sort them out. Reorganizing them is very low priority compared to everything else.

Fixed a bug with electron laser turret where a buff was missing. I probably forgot to put it back during testing the buffs.

hi have a bit of a problem I cannot load into any save game when running the abh mod when i try to load a game with the parts from the mod i get "Error loading game: An item with the same key has already been added. Key: ChangeModeToggle" just wondering if there is anything i can do as non of my saves pretty much work now. I'm running 0.15.5d_steam version of the game and version 0.7.1 of the mod

yuyhyuh If it's a ship file you can import it directly into blueprint mode, using the hamburger menu in blueprint mode.

Save games are sensitive to changes and tend to break with almost every version because they save extra playgame information and changes or change histories. This is independent from mods but more likely to happen with mods. You can send your save game file to Walt so he can take a look but otherwise there's nothing that can be done about it other than hoping the next game version fixes it.

That's why you always save your ship's design and don't rely on save games.

Anyhow, just to be certain it's not some bug I can fix. Please provide the full log so I can check that off.

yuyhyuh Thanks. Looks like I can't really rule out anything.

Unrelated:
Re-uploaded the mod with a temporary fix for phaser type ten probably related to buffs. It's probably related to a runaway update with self buff I've noticed since 0.15.3 but couldn't figure the cause then. Now I know the update simply doesn't reset the buffs as it should when the part is moved along the edges of another or away and back. It just keeps growing. Nothing I can do about this game bug but set limits.

Lafiel I've been wodering for a while now, but it appears the impulse thrusters are using way more energy than the stats say. I've hooked up 10 of them to a medium reactor and the reactor ran dry almost instantly when I ordered the ship to move.

Have a cut-down version of the thruster module I tested this with.

CursedPh4nt0m They do use more power than vanilla but I think the problem is with the mechanics when dropping larger batteries. By default a request is send as soon as half a battery is used up. The crew would pick up 2-3 batteries as a large battery from the large reactor. The large battery is put into the part and any battery that is over is lost in the process. That's why the thrusters appear to use more due to the losses. You probably will see the same when using lots of small thrusters, too.

Lafiel So the same applies to power conduits? I hoped the conversion would solve that due to the storage, but it appears I was wrong.

CursedPh4nt0m No, all power transfers are with one full normal battery at a time so a part using less would only loss a fraction of a battery. So losses can still happen but never more than 2x since default is always half a battery.
