As they continued down the cave, the predatorial noises reverberated louder. indicating the source to be closer than before. the group stumbles across what seems to be dryed, withering remains of soem sort of predator, but from how the corpse looked, it didn't have any remote semblance to the predators or creatures the group encountered outside the cave.
And from the fact the corpse was decaying awfully quickly it wouldn't seem to be entirely... Natural... and then it crumbled into dust. the group continued farther down the caves. small piles of quickly dissipating dust littering the cavern floor in some areas. the predatorial noises began getting... Smaller? it seemed to be getting farther away but it had sounded closer not so long ago.
Then they appeared to have arrived at a cavernous crossroad, three tunnels were present in the cavers, there laid some more piles of dust scattered around. Then a loud rumble reverberated from the left tunnel, feral shrieking becoming present from the same tunnel too, likely indicating the presence of a large organism that was having problems with something hostile perhaps.
The central tunnel seemed like a cavernous corridor which led to a sandstone corridor, it ended in a dead end and the squad could swear they same some movement along the sandstone hall. A trick of the eyes maybe?
Down the right tunnel were sings of a struggle. Tattered cloth and metallic scraps along with gashes in the stone floor. Were there someone else here? Or were it those critters that created these piles of dust? Was it a trap?
When Charlie arrives at one of the temple's entrances he sees it to be a large double woden door, when he approached it, it began slowly creaking open. Revealing an abyssmally black corridor seemingly stretching onwards into infinity with no end in sight. He felt a creepy feeling as he gazed into the corridor, like he couldn't be reached by... something...

As they look around, they spot the shrines on top of the plateaus, they seemed to have a statue by them sitting on stone blocks. They couldn't make out specific details of how the statue's looked like but they were there. One of them spots a woman (@The_Norwegen_idiot ) on another bridge some ways away, the woman seemed to be hurrying to one of the temple's entrances and quickly got out of sight, shrouded by a couple trees and the temple itself.
In frontof them was the stairs which led to the temple's entrance, a large wooden double door stood there with interesting inscriptions.

It was clear the hall wasn't normal, for they were all perferctly illuminated, as if their shadows simply didn't exist in here. As they continued onwards, they noticed that the entrance door creaked closed. Before completely dissapearing into the darkness, becoming one with the abyssmal blackness. Having no real choice but to continue the trio continued onwards.
Then after a little while of walking, the trio finds another door, Unlike the entrance door, this one was much larger. It was a large stone door too, imbued with rich inscriptions of unknown sorts. As they approached it, the door opened, revealing the inside of an impossibly gigantic cylindrical room reaching up into abyssmal darkness. When the trio entered, they also noticed how the room was Wayyyyyy too large to have been possible to fit inside the temple as it was well over a couple kilometres wide. Along the walls were countless sandstone statues, all appearing to have large weapons. From giant swords to large halberds and axes.
Each one looked sort of unique but all had a helmet that hid their face in shadows. the room had a large hole in it's centre, taking up more than half the room surface area, stretching into blackness despite medieval torches hang on it's sides, lightly illuminating inscriptions. Near the hole was a pedestal, or rather multiple pedestals as said pedestals surrounded the hole with equal distance between them. As the door closed behind them, they noticed that there were six statues above the door. All had a golden eye in front of their different colopured cloths which covered their faces.
All looked to be crouched in meditation. Looking towards the hole...
As the woman walked through, she couldn't feel the floor. As if it wasn't there and she was walking on Air. She noticed that she was essentially fully illuminated, as if shadows were an impossibility inside the abyssmal vantablack corridors oddly enough. As the woman continued farther inwards, the door behind her closed and became one wit hthe abyssmal darkness. Cloaking the woman in abyssmal darkness. Well. she wasn't darkened. neither was she actually covered in shadows because of the oddity with shadows being seemingly nonexistant.
Having no real choice she continued onwards. Before stopping as a mighty headache arose briefly, signifying her complete sensual blindness... Well she could feel and see but any sort of supernatural sense she might have had wasn't there, as if blinded in intense fog. She also noted that any sort of connection she had with the outside was for all intents and purposes completely severed. Denying her the ability to create portals to her 'realm'...
Farther forward, she could see a door. a large stone door wit hintricate markings. As she approached it, it rumbled open. revealing a massive chamber that stretched seemingly into infinity to the left and right. The entire roo mbeing made of sandstone bricks. Entering the chamber, the woman finds that the door behind her dissapeared. becoming one wit hthe endless wall. It was of note that the room was completely illuminated through some way. She also noticed an odd trail of... greenery? It was a small trail of grass of flowers. leading down the right. But she quickly heard feral growling from her left. echoing from down the infinitely rektangular room. It was guaranteed to be far away due to the way it echoed. soon after however, she also heard screaming fro mher left. maybe someone in distress?

Angelina comes to the temples entrance after walking over the bridge and the river that encircled the temple itself. Infront of her was one of the temple's entrances, a large wooden double door which creaked open as she approached. Revealing a abyssmally black corridor, there should be light in there if the outside was as bright. It seemingly stretched on forever, no end in sight.
