In a system near the core of a galaxy, there lies an unknown power now heard of. There seems to be ten slots around it, and an empire progressing very fast, local to the world.

More can be heard if you approach the world.

(NOTE: It is not recommended to bring a large fleet, the locals might fire at will.)
(Though non-Cosmoteer related, this progresses in a plan of mine, which will bring up something big)

An uknown power generates an unknown power signature, such a power signature makes being across the galaxy very curious as to what is happening on such places, and as such, being will naturally feel atracted to it.
The "Deltas" are no different.
From the edge of the system, space seems to not function correctly for some seconds. If one were to analyze the quantum field, one'd see that its fluctuations are severely higher than such fields often showcase. And at the apex of such turmoil comes a ship into motion, into view: It is a large Delta ship.
From far away, it inspects the system.

The system seems fairly normal, except for two planets; one darker than a typical life planet (highest priority), and another glowing like an emerald, though it doesn't harness as high signature.

The ship sees two likely planets of a signal, and many other irrelevant planets.

The large ship fires its thrusters, and heads into the orbit of the darker planet, trying to look at its surface and determine the points of highest priority, and possibly highest enemy concentration.
After all, the large ship is a ship meant for orbital bombardments, it would always try to use its cannon to its advantage.

Terket a lone destroyer appears at the edge of the system

Ten The battlecruiser sees a life planet that's dark, and a glowing emerald green world.
The others are mostly red and black.

Terket The Artemis-class battlecruiser would get in orbit of the dark planet

Fort_Master_Gustav The planet's concentration of power is around a spiraling tower, though there are ten other places with a similar signature. The power within the tower seems to be fragile, and won't work without form. The enemy's highest point of power is in said tower.

Nothing but a spiraling tower is visible from plain eye in orbit.

The ship swerves into the atmosphere, and descends into the planet, and into a nearby place fit for landing, though away from civilization.

gearshift48 Though there are a lot of dull-colored planets, the two standing out are a dark green and an almost neon-green. Both around each other, and the dark planet has recieved some "tourism" already.

Terket the destroyer heads over to the neon one and enters far orbit

gearshift48 There's something that looks almost like a mining colony on the somewhat small planet.

There are numerous settlements, ten with more energy than all but the tower. It seems to be holding a black gem, glowing also purple and yellow.

Terket a pod is sent down as a strange figure in obsidian like armor, azure liquid seeming through the plates, moving around the edges, holding it together with a similarly colored mask with a navy blue visor in its center. he begins heading towards a settlement.

gearshift48 Though there are many unwalled settlements, you see a walled one other than the tower you could almost see. The unwalled one is closer, and might be friendlier to unknowns.

Your group can barely see the great tower on the horizon. The landing area seems to be grassfields, though the color can barely be spotted with the sun shining on it.

The ship lands on the grass fields, and out from some sort of hanger that was produced by a large bay door openning from the seamless hull of the ship came a team of troopers, 10 troopers being accompanied by 2 large golems, with equally large weapons on each of their hands.
They positioned themselves outside of the ship, and the large ship took off without them, acquiring orbit around the planet as it watched them.
The team started to head towards the tower, troopers behind golems.

gearshift48 The architecture for the buildings here seems just about the usual Stone and Wood designs. Just when it seemed to be too silent, a bell rung.

It is a long journey, and whilst walking, someone, somewhat like a pale human with a strange green glow in their right eye, approaches.
