A dozen more imperial ships leave the cloud, and they coordinaye fire to bombard the smoke and destroy everything in it, or at least thats the plan. The increasing thickness of the cloud causes some ships to disappear from the sensor web, but whether they are destroyed or just incommunicable is unknown. Turbolaser fire lits the smoke before vanishing in the void, faint explosions pop up as it hits ships and debries.

Fisho tried to shake off, but in the dark and blinded, there was little he could do. He launched a missile foward, igniting a tiny metal sheet and passing through the hole it made. The fighter's shield is breached, several machine gun shots hit the armor on the back. In a last ditch attempt, he makes a full stop, and allow the Baron to pass him, and attempts to get behind to shoot.

A nasty virus is sent along the same frequencies, with an inbuilt IFF to ignore TIE systems. The virus immediately overwhelms the E-War defences and sets about detonating capacitors and other important components within GSR comms arrays, rendering them all but inoperable.

Kotaii leans back and smiles in his chair, satisfied with his work.
Admiral Atra: "I'd prefer it if you were less casual over international comms, sir." Evident disdain in her voice.
Kotaii: "War is no different to an elaborate hunt, where all are both predator and prey. So tell me, what function does formality serve in an environment where everyone's at each other's throats already?"

Schorii: "All ships from all fleets reporting prepared for Switch, ma'am. T minus 10... 9...
K: "Let the hunt begin..."

Hundreds of VWP ships Switch into the system, 1/5 clad in black markings, the rest clad in red. Three carriers stay to the rear of the system and begin releasing a steady stream of fighters and Taroka alike. Five 10km dreadnoughts and twenty 8km battleships join the dozen imperial ships outside of the cloud. Dozens upon dozens of cruisers and anything smaller enter into the cloud itself to assist their imperial comrades.

Since Vaiaelon scanner ignore anything between themselves and their target, it's a simple matter of sorting out denser substances in order to locate ships. A live uplink is sent to TIE forces showing target and friendly positions.

The combined gunnery of the dreadnoughts and battleships focus fire on the Bismarck. "A million shells were flying" has never been more appropriate. If its shields are visible in the slightest, the sheer amount of 1500mm shells impacting them every second is enough to render them completely opaque.

The Warhammer would need some time to reach the planet now, as he had to come to almost a full stop to turn and get re-aligned..
The German forces, though dwindled, kept fighting hard..
Heavy shots hit his thrusters, the bismarck appeared from the smoke, closely passing by the Warhammers engines and hammering them with massive shells..

Fisho manages to do so and the Baron tries to pull up into a loop through debris to avoid getting hit, launching cluster missiles as distractions.

Suddenly, on all channels, the VWP heard something gradually getting louder..

Ar the same time their scanners completely shut down.. and the first fierce shots hit them.

The Bismarck shrugged off the first shots and disappeared into the mist, doing a drive by on the VWP ships and then completely being gone..

five 10km dreadnaughts seem... out of proportion
I believe it's considered that the GSR are the largest faction. Seems weird you can outgun them so. Unless it's all you dreads)

Not really considering the bismark is one ship not a fleet kinda like how the germans can outnumber the Soviets in some battles even though the union is much bigger...

Roughly two dozen corvettes and destroyers were downed in the drive-by and initial strike, with several cruisers damaged. The battleships and dreadnoughts rely on their heavy shielding and ignore the oncoming fire for now.

The very quarks composing the Bismarck are traced to relocate it, the "artillery group" focus fire on the biggest GSR ships in the absence of their primary target. Other VWP ships point towards enemy formations, their designs allowing for maximum active guns to fire forwards, thus reducing the surface area GSR ships have available to fire at.

A steady stream of fighters and Taroka head towards the battle...space.

The engines shields resisted for a while, the Bismarck's massive cannons almost breaking through the shields, when a battleship, Nova class, speeds ahead into the smoke, ramming the front of the Bismarck. Its weapons keep firing as it slow down by the impact. More ships delve into the mist, unaware of dozens of enemy ships, focused solely on its single target. Fighters, who had retreated from the chaos of the mist, circle around and dive shallow into the cloud, dropping several seismic charges to try and disperse the clould.

Fisho keeps focus, trying to avoid the missiles and staying on the Baron's tail, laser cannons firing trying to get a hit, its engine beggining to give out from the damage they suffered.
