The reinforments entered firimg range, after having overburned their engines, but at this point most of thr defenders were gone. In one last charge, 2 Amalgamas collided by accident, causing their antimatter reactors to explode in a purple-ish explosion. The reinforcements open up with enourmous firepower. A heavy cruiser snaps in the middle, and a Viking has most of its front shredded. A dozen advanced fighters close in, resisting flak fire thanks to their shields, and all TIE Frontiers make to the Megablaze, opening on bombing run. On the Battleship, now in mere rags, orders are given to shoot all remaing torpedos, blasting through the Megablaze's side. The Golan space station deactivates its interdictor field, putting all energy into its shields.
