Inability to start Cosmoteer

Hey y'all,

So i have gained an interest in this game through my brother. His computer is the same as mine, yet Cosmoteer is failing to open. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Here's some details:

I'm on Windows 7, SP1

Same exception occurs on versions 0.15.1a and 0.15.2

ignore the "PC Repair Tool" ads.
I'm guessing it's the cryptographic issue.

Strange, havent seen that kind of error before. You might try running the .NET Framework Repair Tool to see if that helps.

Also, is this the standalone version of the Steam version? You can also try installing the other version, whichever one you're not using.

I tried the repair tool with no effect.

I have dump files on my machine that I can send if that helps; tell me how to get them to you. I don't have steam on my computer, so I can't try that version.

MessengerAngel You can post them on a file-sharing website and I'll take a look, but I'm not hopeful they'll contain any useful information.

MessengerAngel Another thing: Judging from where that log file ends, it appears to be crashing while initializing the graphics. It's possible there's an issue with your graphics drivers that are causing the crash. Try updating your graphics drivers if you haven't already.

In fact, as I look closer, this is very suspicious:

These two lines are supposed to describe your GPU and how much video ram you have. The fact that they are empty indicates something is very wrong there.

What GPU do you have?
